Had to share. Got this for Mothers Day. Wow…no more slippery lemons and zesty smelling fingers or asking Mr E for a squeeze. Fast, cut, drop in and squeeze with both hands. Love it!

Oh that sort of lemon squeezer. Not one of these...
People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

OK, I'll bite. Squeezing lemons is a daily job around here.

surely asking Mr E for a squeeze is still a thing
Common sense is not as common as you think.
I love that they do 3 sizes in the appropriate colours for the relevant fruits.
It's almost like something Tupperware would've done back when they were good.

Cut the end off put 3 evenly places toothpicks half way up around the lemon, put it in a glass (using the toothpicks to hold it at the top of the glass) put it in the microwave for 1 min then 30 second increments as required. Hey presto juiced lemon.
There's the knock off ones at Kmart.

Oh no and look at the price difference! I won’t tell her. It’s an exact copy too.

Really? Wow, gotta try that.
We have an electric one that works well but is a pain to pull out, clean etc unless you’re doing heaps.
l’ve read good reviews about those manual ones. I read the real one’s better than Kmarts but ymmv.
I've used a metal one like this for years. They are cheap (mine was about NZ$10 from amazon), work great and are very durable. It's what you'll find in cocktail bars and commercial kitchens.

I bought one of these.
Lasted 2 cocktail evenings. So maybe 4 lemons and 2 limes?
Go for the better quality one.

Will be interesting to check it out in person and get a feel of the weight as was thinking to buy some for friends. Mine is quite solid and weighty so if kmarts is a thinner plastic there’s a lot of force on the pin area and would snap it. Hope you added a review on it so they know.
Handle's one looks solid but I suspect it needs strength and I have thumb and forefinger arthritis in right hand which is why this clapper one was so easy to use.
I use lemons a lot so will report back in a while if this is a 'lemon.'

i remember reading of this some time ago - fluicer.
once upon a time, owning the patent was reasonable protection - not no more.
Oh no! Now I feel double sad. Won’t ever buy the Kmart one after reading. That really brought it home and he’s an Aussie Ditch bro as well.
*For Mr Gransbury, the news that Kmart was selling what appeared to be a dupe of his award-winning design under their Anko brand was more than a professional insult, it was personal.
“It felt like the air had escaped from my lungs,” he recalls to news.com.au. “It was an absolute gut punch.”
Huh, didn't know that either. thats some bollocks right there
