raytaylor: I needed a new ipod for the gym - went into the napier store to buy a nano.

That store is in a sorry state if you ask me. I get depressed walking into it and never stay long. (The VERY few times I have been in, while living in Napier).

If all their stores are like this, I really have to wonder how they stay in business.

PS: You know there is a Harvey Normans just down the street now, where you can actually get some service and won't feel like you entered a cave?

People in Wellington.

In general, which Wgtn store has the most stock? Heading out tomorrow morning, dont want to go into the store to see half the shelves empty, when another store could of been fuller.

Looked thru the list on @ChoiceCheapies and didnt see many of those things in any of the stores I went into today.

As an aside, ive made an account on choicecheaies but dont see any reply options on stuff to participate on there, I guess it needs verification or something?

Hey mate,

A lot of the stock would have disappeared yesterday and Wednesday, when they started marking prices down. Going to be interesting tomorrow, the day that the media have pushed this as being the sale day, when hordes of people turn up and there is no stock left.

As for the website I can see the account you've made, and you have verified/checked your email to retrieve the password. Stupid question, but have you tried refreshing the page you were on after logging in? Each comment should have options under it like:

as well as a reply box a the bottom of the page.

@richms try now. If it works, then it was because you had used an international VPN, and we enforce tougher restrictions on international connections, just to reduce spam. Have bypassed it for you.

All good now. Yeah VPN on these PCs because hulu is a prick with DNS unblockers.

Lower Hutt had quite a bit of stock including a lot of apple stuff. Some DSE don' have any apple stuff, or very little.
I was quite impressed with some of the deals. Got an A3 laminator which I was looking for for a while for $9.95. Also a good quality belkin ipad cover for $2.

If you want a general answer it is Queensgate - it's the biggest store in Wellington region and the staff out there were saying on Thursday they had a fair bit of back room stock in phones and TV's. I don't know how true that is as of Saturday morning though!
