It's a good thing I found this thread! I just rang up C1 after 2 months of hair pulling, waiting for $390 to be refunded and since I did direct debit at the time I couldn't get it sorted by my bank. Being a full-time student that's alot of money to have stolen, I sure hope C1, or at least the people who were once owners of C1 are caught and sorted out!

The same number posted on their site and in numerous emails from them, 09-573-5004 , with and without the 09 prefix.

No, last phone call with someone there was on Tuesday March 31st, the person on the other end was a female who said she'd get the accountant to sort it out asap, before then it was a guy who said he'd forward it as important to the accountant which was another 2-3 weeks prior, but yeah, still no refund.

Yeah, just sent an email. If anything can be done it would certainly make my day, it would give me extra money to have after purchasing a new tripod this Thursday :P.

it wasnt the cheapest.
They did have cheaper prices, but it the right price, always delivered, and was always reliable on what gear you received - not like ordering a seagate 160 and receiving a samsung 160 like i did from expert infotech.

C1 wasn't a small player in the game, they've been around for YEARS! and i mean YEARS compared to most...

their RMA was really good - essentially they knew business and they had it down to a perfect art!
the website was ALWAYS reliable

they were not like Ingram Micro thats been known to send out Netgear 100mbit 8port switches when someone (a friend) ordered an Adobe CS4 upgrade pack for $2-3grand ...

You could always trust them, hense why c1 (now) is in the hole for nearly 500k (rough guess but i wouldnt be suprise if close or im right...) with suppliers, random people ordering gear and such...

if it was some small business like PC Pacific or something that went down, there wouldnt be this thread.
there have been a few businesses that have gone to the wind, but none of have ever caused threads such as this to be made in their name - and similar threads on other forums... like gpforums... (who c1 owes like 16k to a couple dozen guys there alone)...

Yeah those muppets are still trying to get us to pay for a $2500 lisence which they never shipped to us for months ago... they could easily call  Cisco and verify that the lisense number has not been used but they think its easier to chase us up for the $$ than make the same call to that we did which would resolve the issue in minutes.

seeing c1 go is a trus shame as they were just so good and the only ones who knew how to pack goods into a box :D

Ode to their packing skills, buying something off C1 and having it shipped was like opening a Christmas or birthday present, it always nicely packed and presented, nothing was wrong, Memory was in the motherboard box, the boxes fit just right, $1,600 worth of parts could fit into a a nice box that was so nicely packed you just wanted to clone the person who packed it and make put them in every business...
Cases, Speakers, nothing was too much for them, if there had to be space, there had to be air bubble bags! if there was no other room for them it was cut up boxes! Hard drives packed so well you wouldnt care if they were dropped a few times in courier, so well packed they'll bounce right off the floor!

Alas this is the Thing i'll miss, I'll miss their nicely tidied boxes...

lol
