If they do that I’ll buy a Galaxy!

I would probably consider a Pixel if they were sold and supported here rather than having to be dodgy grey imports.

If you go to pay a bill and complete every box, then realise you forgot to select the correct account and change the account from which the bill will be paid……it wipes every bit of info and you have to start again. Grrrrr.

When did we start referring to fire engines as fire trucks?

I mean Sunday morning ZB children's story-time radio would not have been the same in my childhood if it was "Flick the Little Fire Truck"...

I've always referred to them as Big Red Wee-Wah's but maybe I'm not that mature for my age. 

I have always referred to them as Fire Trucks. After all they are a truck that has stuff to put out fires. We don't refer Heavy Goods Appliances, Rubbish collection Appliances, Army Appliances.

It's similar to Boot for Trunk on a car, they are a trunk as in the past they literally had a trunk strapped on the back of the car. 

The OED says that "fire truck" is the American name for a fire engine. So yes, similar to boot/trunk in that one's an American name.
