msukiwi:
NZPost New Tracking site gives you even less information that before! It was lousy then!
Don't even show if the parcel is in transit between depots now!
"Parcel: Exists"
Sound about right? I've seen a few parcel tracking sites which are about that helpful.
That saitouchofsoice.co.nz think it is a great idea to have someone driving on the Wrong Side of the Street so the driver can randomly throw glossy menus on the footpath - NOT in letterboxes!
Sheesh, there is enough litter as it is! Lazy delivery!

Geektastic: It’s peculiar to NZ based couriers in my experience. Every international courier seems to have much more detailed tracking. I just think they don’t care here. The attitude seems to be “Use us or use the other guy. We don’t care.”
You've clearly never tried to send something in Australia! "It's on its way" was the only status update for a fortnight when trying to get something from Adelaide to Melbourne. It arrived the day after we got back on the plane to NZ.
Senecio:We can all blame YouTube for that. The content creators are just playing the hand they are dealt to work within the "algorithm"

I don't recall; it was a few years ago now.
Kyanar:That Ham, Cheese and Tomato sandwiches have overnight become Ham and Cheese sandwiches, with no correspondent price decrease.

Not a big annoyance but a cafe in the Wellington city used to have a board advertising "gourmet toasties", the difference from a standard cheese and ham toasted sandwich was having a sprig of parsley on top.
Also, if your cheese toasted sandwich is not made on a flat surface (or frypan) with butter but inside a microwave then it's not a cheese toasted sandwich.

Which courier? I bet it wasn’t FedEx.
That's AusPost. The status options are "We've got it", "It's on the way" and "Delivered".
Geektastic: Now, this would delight me no end given that I detest tomatoes! The fact that finding a simple plain ham and cheese sandwich without salad etc is so hard is what annoys me.
Tomatoes are the devil's fruit. No self-respecting medieval witch burner wold go near them.
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos

Day 25 is almost over of NO water on the Street and the "Flooding" Signs are still there!
Despite 6 Phone calls to the CCC! Even completed their online form to report a problem!
Found out they are Higgins signs. Phoned them this afternoon. Signs are still there probably for another day (At least)!
Should be un-believable, but living here "It's Normal" unfortunately!
I was a big fan of usenet back in the late 90's, and out of a morbid curiosity, I set up an usenet account to take a look at nz.general, nz.rec, and the like. I was not sure what to expect.
Just... wow. Things have gone downhill, with these groups now resembling the worst aspects of talk-back radio except with more climate denial and general conspiracy theories, combined with vastly more spam than I remember back in the day. There are some very angry people there.
