Air Fryer. Never seen one. I do see air bakers which are just a tiny fan oven. I guess Air Fryer sounds like a new invention

Fry is more accurate than Bake. Fry involves a fat or oil (introduced or naturally occurring as a result of rendering existing fat under heat) and high heat to create the Malliard reaction. Baking is a dry process.

The problem with public transport is that you need a high population density (which we don't have) to make it effective. If you could move all the Wellingtonians from Johnsonville, Tawa, Kelburn, Karori, etc into blocks of flats in (say) Karori, you could then have  a convenient (fast, frequent) and cheap public transport service between Karori and the CBD.

You assume people want to be moved from where they are. Or would be willing to move.

Surprise: no.

No, I don't assume that. I acknowledge that everyone wants to have their 1/4-acre paradise. I'm just saying that the downside of that is that public transport isn't feasible.

I disagree. Public transport is very feasible in this region. It's badly done.

Isn't that always the case in an "Air Fryer"?

Our Air Fryer is just a small fan oven. Nothing is immersed in fat or oil to facilitate the cooking process unlike when you use a frying pan or frying dish where the oil/fat is used to transfer the heat to cook the food. In an "Air Fryer" the movement of hot air is used to transfer the heat in other words a dry process. The temperature being set higher or lower depending on whether you're "baking" or "frying". At least that's the way our "Air Fryer" works.

Have I got it all wrong?

You are supposed to apply oil onto things that go into it before putting them in so that they go somewhat nice, but I have never had good results with it even being very very generous with how much I have put on.

That Apple have effectively destroyed a significant portion of the second hand value of my iMac Pro (Intel Xeon W) by inventing their own chips!

Thats how I see it. They say that an "Air Fryer" is more healthy as no oil/fat.

If baking is a dry reaction what happens to the natural fats/oil in the product? They are heated. By heat and increased by a fan. As in a fan oven, aka bake

Sad state of affairs.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/royals/300690644/harry-and-meghan-uninvited-to-state-reception-at-buckingham-palace

its not like they bashed the Royal Family, they chose not to have their life scripted.

Joe Biden, the US president, and Emmanuel Macron, the French president, will be among hundreds of heads of state who will be welcomed to London on the eve of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

Presidents and prime ministers from across the globe will arrive in the capital throughout the weekend alongside foreign royals, governors-general and ambassadors.

But Harry and his wife are uninvited? It was an opportunity to mend matters. But no

RIP QE II

I didn't post before about this, but the UK side of the family really missed multiple opportunities to make everyone happy.

Exactly. Even if there was a good reason for their treatment of the couple, not allowing him to wear an uniform is just... Crap.

Fair enough, but the Queen moved with the times, The Empire moved towards a Commonwealth, no power, just tradition. King Charles has done the same by being more physically contactable in a crowd. The ignoring Harry's service in not appropriate. It may well be that the underlings managing all this have spoken rather than the King. They are entrenched in tradition despite being just employees. Time will let this play out, whodunnit.
