But no. It's was literally about Amy being temporarily constipated. Worse the next day she pooped, texted Oprah, and Oprah talked about it a second time jokingly.

I feel like I've gotten old, moaning about the state of TV.

No you are fine, Amy Schumer is just non funny narcissist who continuously talks about her bodily functions. Usually it is her vagina but occasionally she strays into nearby territory.

You can't trust the Stuff quiz; the other day there was a question about the values of musical notes and the answer was wrong.

We occasionally do the quiz at work, and we have observed numerous wrong answers.

Today's asked how many seconds are in a day. All the possible answers had four digits and the "correct" answer was 1440... which is of course the number of minutes!

Person Hurt In Hutt Valley Crash

“A person has been hurt in what's believed to be a serious crash in Gladstone in Carterton in the Hutt Valley.“

Close, but no cigar. The residents of Carterton and Gladstone will no doubt be surprised to learn they now live in the Hutt.

TVNZ News tonight: “A survey shows that 24.8% of respondents have [done something to do with vaping]. That means one quarter of respondents have [done something to do with vaping]”. Oh, really - thanks - I didn’t figure that.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I have noticed that newspapers etc explain simple things that not so long ago it would have been assumed any person reading would know.

Perhaps the result of the 'dumbing down' of education we often read about?

More possible evidence that Stuff check GZ posts instead of using sub editors.
By the time I did that quiz, that mistake had been corrected.

To be fair to Stuff, we're cheaper and probably more diligent...

Its not the headline that is wrong, but the "facts" of the article.

20 year old woman convicted of having sex with 15 year old "boy". Ok, its illegal I get that, however the boy pestered her for sex (well, he is 15) and with the parents knowledge and consent, they shared a bed. In the sentencing notes, the judge said that whilst it was an unusual situation, the parents wouldn't have expected the offending to have occurred. How stupid and/or naive are the parents? How many 15 year old boys in similar circumstances wouldn't try and have sex with someone sharing their bed?

They put opportunity and temptation in the way of a 15 year old bag of raging hormones and then cry foul?

I hope they are no longer contributing to the gene pool

Agree

What I took from this is that, yes its wrong and illegal, but they knew each other for many years, everyone gave consent to the sleeping arrangement, and unsurprisingly they had sex. The boy was 15 1/2, almost 16. They developed a relationship. Its still wrong, and The material also said Bambery was immature and operated "younger than her chronological age".

Her sentencing is that of an evil predator, while the parents go scot free.

A few days ago NewsHub's radio news:

"A man shocked to hear that his close friend had died in a fire".

Really? Shocked? Who would have thought?

I guess not the reporter, since he went to close friends of a recently deceased person to get their reaction and thought this was newsworthy.

On stuff:

"US Bachelorette contestant dies"

Yeah, I can see why that international news is being reported.

Yip!

Right next to a link (which I haven't clicked on) telling us that this summer Sydney has had a day that was hotter than any day last summer.
