Has anyone had goods show up in their youshop account over the last few days?

I had a tracked courier package get delivered to youshop oregon on 30/12 but the parcel has still not appeared in my account. When I put the tracking number in on the youshop website it says not found.

not sure if somethings gone wrong or if its just all the public holidays causing issues?

I had a parcel arrive, that took a few extra days longer than normal to be put into the system
I just blame this time of year.

However I guess if your parcel isn't found by the end of the week, you will need to contact them

I used shipitto for a recent package. It left their warehouse on 10th Dec and was in my office on 5th Jan - it was probably here delayed by Christmas. Overall I found their service excellent - promptly notified when it arrived in their warehouse, they took photos of it before they shipped it out, I think it may have been repacked (not sure), and it was secure and delivered in perfect condition. They have other carriers that would get it here much more quickly. Overall a better service than youshop, but potentially significantly more expensive if you're in a hurry, and maybe even more expensive for economy delivery.

I believe there was a recent email from shipito where they detailed a price rise.  I suspect your purchase predates that as well.

Yeah the price has gone up slightly, but $2 extra isn't that significant IMHO.

I have had an interesting time with You Shop recently. Ordered something from USA and it arrived in NZ and I could track it here through Customs etc. You Shop sent me an email and stated it now Delivered but still no sign. I checked tracking and it stated it was delivered to a post office niles from where I lived. Sent an email to the YouShop and a few days later I received a phone call saying it had been delivered incorrectly and disappeared. They guessed it had just been put in post and I would probably get it after Christmas. I asked why the tracking stopped at the postoffice and they said they don't track it beyond post office ???. So I waited no parcel arrived continued to chase You Shop but guess they were off over holidays. I have now received an advice from USA saying it was waiting for me to provide payment to NZ etc. This meant I had to pay postage again the parcel now has a new tracking number. Have sent email off to You Shop but of course they don't answer me.
Not sure what to do now. Will see if the parcel arrives this time

There's also live chat although they took that down for a while last month. Email would like be fairly slow at this time of year but I suspect they will answer you. Remember that today is probably the first day they've been reading emails since the 31st. (And who knows if they'd even dealt with all the emails from that week by the 31st.) Your case seems the kind where it may be worth bugging them on Twitter about it if they haven't responded to you by tomorrow. I would have waited fo contact from Youshop/NZ Post before paying twice but regardless it seems something they will deal with as both of you would have records of the seperate payments.

Are you sure you paid twice for the same thing and didn't get something else? Presuming you definitely didn't send anything to your Youshop address, I have heard of packages accidentally being misattribued to the wrong account before. It seems a little weird your original package would be in the US since they were tracking something even if it did disappear and it seems unlikely it would have been sent back to the US warehouse after arriving in NZ. Unless it was a consolidated package and they only shipped half.

BTW, while I can't comment on processing arrivals, my package which I paid for on the 02/01 morning NZT (i.e. during the day of 01/01 US time so I presume they weren't working) left warehouse on morning of 02/01 (03/01 6 am NZT). So it seems deliveries are still being sent quickly.

Am I the only one having trouble finding the signature required option? Last time it was fairly prominent when I paid IIRC. But this time I don't recall seeing anything when I was paying etc until after I paid when it said signature not required. I then looked around and found someone on the GP forum saying they had a similar problem back in early December. Weirdly, the Youshop FAQ seems to suggest I can only change signature required after the parcel has shipped from the US Warehouse. https://support.nzpost.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/1725/~/when-can-i-change-whether-signature-is-required-for-my-youshop-parcel%3F But it already has and I'm sitll not finding it, only the option to can change address (which doesn't have signature required anywhere, even for a new address).

I agree I wanted to make mine signature delivery but can no longer find it. I ship to my po box so that at least it is not our in the wild. It amazes me that another shipment which was a small envelope areas just placed in my box which is odd. Normally they place a card in the box and I have to go to counter to collect. I am positive this is the same parcel but why a NZ post office would return it to USA is beyond me

freitasm: It seems the UK warehouse needs a couple of business days before entering parcels into "the system". Remember that this was the last day before Christmas so I can pretty much say they'd be overloaded with parcels.

Anything ordered after 1st December, is a hit or miss, whatever service you use. I remember a couple of years ago ordering things on Amazon, direct to my home address and not receiving until mid-January. Lesson learnt, we now order Christmas stuff start of November.

Finally got the package in UK warehouse, I guess you are right that it took them a bit of while especially with Xmas and New Year holiday combo (4 day holiday each so 8 holiday total)

I ordered a bunch of corks off Amazon for my wedding (31st Dec). Ordered 19th Nov, shipped 20th, delivered to Oregon 28th Nov, and that's it. Surely can't take nearly 8 weeks to get across the Pacific, even on the postal service.

Did you receive and paid for the shipping? If so, past time to contact YouShop.

Yeah your comment is a bit confusing. If it arrived at the Oregon warehouse, but never showed up in your Youshop, then it's unlikely it crossed the Pacific unless someone else paid for it because it was associated with their account. Anyway you should have tried to associate it manually and if that still didn't work, ask them what gives. You should try now although this far out it could be disposed of if it was never claimed.

If it showed up in your account and you paid, then you should have gotten updates, e.g. shipped from the US and new tracking number, arrived in NZ, at customs etc. I would have complained if nothing at all had happened after 2 weeks or so, not waited for 8 weeks, definitely time to ask.

I'm importing some used books through youshop and after shipping I'm a little over the GST threshold, do used goods still incur import tax?
