Geektastic:

Politicians who make statements such as the one quoted below, which when analysed are in fact not sentences in English merely a string of buzzwords and/or illogically grouped phrases.

"My understanding is that as we've got the funding that pushes the button for everybody and so we need to make sure that you do know what is going to happen and I imagine that's going to come along before too long."

That was 100% pure English.

Threads on drugs where the topic is already being covered in an existing thread where everyone says the exact same things!

Don't look at me. I didn't start it.

Anyway, it wasn't a thread on drugs but a thread on whether drug policy would influence voting behaviour. That is a legitimate subject. The thread just drifted, as these often do.

Posts on this thread, somewhat disingenuous I believe, using a broad brush to trivialise or ridicule opposing opinion on a main thread.

I drift a bit on my meds but that is OK unless I am driving tongue-out

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Phew, thank goodness none of that applies to my comment then!

Getting a new automated email from mail administrator (767 bytes in size) every minute telling me that "Your ClearNet Mailbox Size Is Approaching Its Limit"

That's gonna be self forfilling before long.

That's worse than getting daily reminders my password will be expiring in the next 14 days.

Just an idea, change it the first day and don't worry about it nagging you?

Have you had to change your password monthly? That makes it a new password every 2 weeks. Thankfully there are postit notes ;-)

Passwords.

Don't use the same password for things.

But you can't access them without one.

And you need about 150...! But none can be the same.

And you can't write them down.

And none of the systems supposed to assist with this work 100%.

Bought a box of scorched almonds. Got them home and realised that they're dark chocolate. Not only did I not realise that they existed, but Nestle has decided to give them exactly the same box design as the normal milk chocolate ones.
