Why is it so (Insert expletive) hard to find and read the recycling number on some bottles?

Some are ridiculously small compared to the bottle real estate available!

In Palmy we had a recycling bin where you just threw anything recycling into it. Glass was in another container. Here in Whangas however you have to sort everything yourself into the bins at the recycling station for each plastic.

I've been to that one. It has a cool feature that if an incorrect item goes into a slot , it gets fired back out again (assuming the staff working there see it come in at the time, of course).

^ if you're smart and the gates are open you drive around the back and load directly into the bins instead of through the slots.  Staff have been mostly helpful when I've not been sure on something otherwise it goes back into the boot of the car to be added to our usual rubbish.

The best solution for this would be for product to have a recycling number added to the front of the product in the same manner as the 5-star rating.

Our local Smiths City is closing down. That leaves, far as I'm aware, the monopoly of Harvey Norman for a 80km radius.

im not sure how the Rotorua one is still open, it has gotten smaller and the staff outnumber customers on most days.

Big Save is moving in there.

I've had no issues with the quality of furniture from Big Save.  Bed, mattresses, dresser units, book shelves etc.  All decent solid timber construction.

Thanks. There's stuff we need to get (even though we've been needing to for years...)

That I put up with multiple buttons on a remote for a TV I use frequently, because I believed it 'normal' for this type of remote (magic). Finally got fed up and called support, who sent out another, which works perfectly. 3 years of frustration.

That the only cost effective and reasonably well run parking in the Auckland CBD is a goner. So frustrating.

2000 Carparks. Retailers are seen on the news begging people to come to the city (which I have a great deal of sympathy for), but then parking is so hard, it's actively unpleasant to travel in, and most everything can be found elsewhere.  AK Council are just accelerating the death of the CBD.

I would say this used to be an annoyance but now it is a smile. Are you complaining about a problem that has been solved?

I posted in the other thread a few weeks ago when I arranged the replacement and it took only 15 minutes, but now that it's arrived and it actually fixed the issue, I am annoyed I didn't deal with it earlier and save myself all that friction.

I guess that I typically use the TV in the evenings when companies are closed, and I am not really in a position to do something, and I genuinely expected quite a fuss from the manufacturer over it.

It's all part of AT and Auckland Council's war on private motorists. Don't worry, it's Good For The Environment™ and will Fix Congestion™. We'll all get to use Auckland's amazing public transport and it will be so much fun transporting your purchases home that way.

People that come into work and think that its our problem they came in without a method of payment that we accept after they have chosen all their items and bought them to the counter.
