May have been mentioned here before but I have just watched the 2008 limited UK series Criminal Justice on Netflix. Series 1 is five episodes and truly excellent IMO - has some well-known UK actors. Series 2 is also five episodes but totally different story line - good but not as great as S1.

There was an American remake of this entitled 'The Night Of' starring John Turturro with the story taking place in New York. It too was excellent (unusual for a US remake of a Brit show) and well worth a watch even if you have seen the original.

Upload - Amazon Prime

Interesting concept, interesting characters, about halfway through, likely to finish it.

I really enjoyed Upload, looking forward to the next series (I understand it's got the green light for another series).

Yeah, I finished it a couple of days ago. It's very good.

Five Bedrooms - Australian Comedy Drama about 5 near strangers who buy a house together.

It's fantastic, but then I really like Australian Drama's.

Hayley after Phil is given a trip to the international space station by a guy he used to mentor but is terrified to go:

"I can't wait to tell our kids their Pop Pop is an Astronaut!"

"What if Pop Pop is the last sound I ever make?"

LOLOL.

Some classic lines in the show that are sometimes overlooked, as the characters all have their own wit and wisdom to impart.

It used to be one of my favourite shows but I haven't watched it for a couple of years. I got sick of the political slurs and the endless unncessary smut talk. I am certianly no prude, but if that's the only way to be funny, you need a new job.

I haven’t read all this thread so it may have been mentioned earlier... I’m a bit late to it... I’ve just finished Season 1 of “Dark” on Netflix. What an excellent show. I’ve been watching while on the treadmill, has kept me coming back for more. Subtitled, German language. Went in with no spoilers at all.

Also finished season 1 of “The Boys”. Thoroughly enjoyed also. R rated. Good fun!

Cheers,
Joseph

I finished the first season of Five Bedrooms and it's a cracker series. Admittedly, I am a fan of Australian dramas, but this is really quite excellent. Almost all the characters are unique, interesting and developed well pretty quickly. Ben is a superstar as is Heather. (who I have always like as an actress).

Highly recommended. One of the best series I have seen this year.

Rake AU is another fantastic series.

This Country on BBC. Mocumentry about youth living in a small rural English town, in this case 2 cousins living in the Cotswolds, brother and sister in real life. Very funny, 8.5 on IMDB

Reminds me of a line in 8 Out of Ten Cats (comedy version of Countdown).  Easiest just to give the link — it's only 13 seconds long

I really enjoyed that too. I think there is a second series in the works?

I have just finished the first season of Doctor Foster which I thought was really good.

Don;t worry. Most of it is well-dubbed in English.

Lucifer season 5 on Netflix - only half of the season as they stopped filming for now, but will finish season 5 and release a final season 6.

Interesting story as always but only if you like it.
