Handsomedan:

I'm stunned that they are making this whole exercise harder for the average household. With the issues we have with plastics and recyclable materials going into landfill, they have just decided that the economic benefits of reducing the number of things you can recycle are better than the environmental impact of people choosing to put all recyclables and a few things that aren't recyclable into the recycling bins.

Basically, if you make it harder to recycle, people will simply stop recycling altogether. They won't work harder to sort their items.

problem is there is no where that they can send the items so they have to go to landfill, can't ship them off to China any more.

Government should be helping councils come up with solutions, even if it was a couple of plants per island to recycle/use the items.

People using their phone in loudspeaker mode in public when there is no need. I don't need to hear your conversation and I'm sure neither does anyone else.

There used to be effectively only two choices for tap washers 1/2 & 3/4 inch. Almost everyone had them!

Now with ceramic inserts there seen to be so many that even Bunnings don't stock (Available on Special Order only) the ones for the taps / mixers they sell!

This make some others annoyed but once or twice I may have used some horrific words that would clearly be audible to the person on the other end of the line!

I’ve had both kids off sick this week and just got them both back today. By 10:30am I’ve had the call to take Miss 9 to A&E.

Nothing broken and back to school by lunchtime. My day is a shambles now but she’s fine.

Receiving a RCA (root cause analysis) after a P1 outage which doesn't actually identify the root cause.

Ok but that doesn't tell me how or why that configuration file was updated erroneously...

Customer stating that they haven't heard from us since their forst enquiry in November...complains to management.

We've been reaching out weekly to a number of different email addresses and so has their supplier, but no response.

After mentioning that to management, we suddenly get the required response and paperwork. grrrr...
