neb: Winner is the Zircon Mx, which is hard to get here but you can find used/open-box ones on eBay pretty easily.

Working well and easy to find on secondhand market seems like a contradiction.

Reminds me of my Uncle in the 80's. (He had lath & plaster walls)

He only drilled a row of 18 holes before he found a stud for the picture hook!

Aramex 🤨. Supposedly delivered something Saturday morning, I was home, checked cam footage and no sign of anything pulling into driveway around the delivery time.

I have found that all my aliexpress tat I have delivered to work seems to come by Aramex, and they are actually pretty good with that stuff with the email about 5am that its on the way and being there when I arrive at 9:30ish.

But to home, no email till after its arrived sometimes, just left on the mailbox or in the old milk part of it, and quite late to show delivered in the aliexpress tracking.

Got a response, so if it was lost or damaged how is it showing on the tracking as being delivered and signed for?Sounds a bit iffy.

Dear Customer, Your enquiry has now been passed to our National Claims Department to initiate insurance claims proceedings with you as after an investigation within our network, your item has been deemed either lost or damaged in transit.

Speaking of Ali and annoying, that the two items of relatively unimportant stuff I ordered shipped the next day and are already at the departure transport hub stage while the two more pressing items haven't even shipped yet. It's as if they knew which ones I needed, sigh.

Pearl Jam announce their first gig in NZ for over a decade, as part of the Dark Matter world tour.

I am a member of the Ten club (official fan club).

I get a pre-sale code for TC members.

$276 per ticket plus fees.

This is for a band that is not as relevant as Foo Fighters in NZ, playing in a stadium that's a bit rubbish for live gigs (if we're honest), they're playing in Spring (Nov 8th), which means it's 95% certain to be pouring down and the TC tickets are allocated to a small part of the stands that are off to one side at the side of the stage, which wouldn't be the best seats in the house.

This is from a band that stopped touring and took Ticketmaster to court over making concert tickets affordable for fans.

I'm more than a little annoyed - I'm fuming.

I am surprised you are a member of a fan club then.

I'm excited for the new album, have a number of pieces of their merch and love their music and activism.

The price of the tickets and the veue combine to make me angry.

If they were playing at Spark Arena, I'd likely stump up the cash. Not paying that to sit in the rain at Mt Smart at my age - I'll get sick and die.

johno1234: Electronic stud finders. Do any actually work?

Mine works too well. Everytime I am holding it, it's going off all the time!  ;)

Are you suggesting that you are a stud? 😇

Oh, Mr Cookie just bought a Stanley stud finder last week.

I've just waved it over him and it did nothing.

Figures.

Buyer's Remorse?😂
