So I just finished watching episode 4 of Taskmaster NZ (TVNZ2) and I just can’t watch it anymore. Being local I have tried to give it a chance, especially since I’ve watched and enjoyed all the UK seasons of the original. It just isn’t funny or entertaining. Perhaps it’s due to the shallowness of the talent pool of kiwi comedians (or at least those that were available).

Four hours of my life I won’t get back (well 3 actually because I ffwded through the ads). 2/10

Dingbatt: Taskmaster NZ. 2/10

I decided that after 1 episode; well done you for sticking it out for 4. I also thought 1/10.

Because

A) I can't stand that Wells bloke,
B) Generally, the whole 'NZ Comedian = Deadpan' thing is way overdone now; and most people don't pull it off either.
C) Couldn't understand why that Bacon/Sausages advertising guy was in it. Oh, he's supposed to be a comedian... I see.

Warning: strong language, after 30 seconds, lots of sexual situations, definitely R18+

If you enjoyed NetFlix's Big Mouth, and Happy Tree Friends you'll enjoy this.

Blackpill productions: "An animation studio in Paris full of depressive, beautiful, f__ked up people making cartoons for depressive, beautiful, f__ked up people. Peepoodo & the Super F_ck Friends explores sexuality without taboos and in all its forms, including dicks and nipples. It also focuses on an unrestrained sexuality that ignores prejudices and tolerance."

You'll have to do an Youtube and Internet search for "Peepoodo"

Agree...I actually quite like Leigh Hart, but this show is flawed beyond redemption.

Strong language and sexual references where they're not necessary, due to a lack of cleverness on the part of the "comedians" and generally lowbrow comedy.

The tasks are basically the same as the UK version - they're just not cleverly completed. It just seems like there's a remit to be as crass as possible. I do wonder if they just asked who was desperate for a payday and the first four hands that shot up in the room were picked.

Chemistry is completely lacking in the cast too...Paul Williams is most definitely not "Little Alex Horne".

Just finished watching House of Saddam

Story of Saddam and his families rise to power and their downfall

It's a bit of a rush as they packed 26 years of tyranny into 4x hour long episodes but was still an enjoyable watch

The Crown season 4, on Netflix. Up until season 3 we saw the Queen and others working for country. This season is about jealous and selfish people. Prince Charles comes out as not a really nice person at all.
