I've had about three of these types of letters from NZ post in the last 6 months - they''re just tracked letters to determine how good their delivery network is

Makes sense. Why is it coming from a bank though?

Not sure -- is there some rule where they have to confirm someone's at an address or something?

Easter weekend traffic woes: Delays of up to an hour on State Highway 1 in Wellington

Since when did we start driving on the right side of the road?

By what I see around here, some people in NZ already do!

I don't see the story there, what's the issue?

Both the photos were initially flipped so it appeared the all the cars were driving on the right hand side of the road. I'm impressed that they corrected it so quickly.

I have mentioned this to Stuff CEO on Twitter and was fixed quite quickly.

Maybe headline should be couple enhance and raise unique value of performance artwork ?

Apparently a $440,000 to $500,000 painting, depending on news source.
It was displayed with paints and brushes scattered, as it was when artist completed it as part of the work.

Seems the couple mistook this for an invitation for public to participate as part of performance ?

'Vandalism' headline is probably a bit harsh ?
Um its the three dark splodges in the center.
Maybe the increased its value, as its now got a story and more views ?

Edit PS The sign and the ankle high fence were not there originally, added with increased security later

'Random' art with paint next to it and no signs? I'd have probably assumed the same.

Reminds me of when someone got 'mad' at me for taking an app that he'd open-sourced and building my own version from the source.

Those vandals probably didn't get schooled in appreciation of modern art.

Not a dumb headline, but really dumb behaviour in the headline, which deserves special mention.

Not a headline but a story. A painter fired after 4 days because he complained the rest of the painters spent their workday smoking pot.

His boss thought it would be less disruptive to fire the law abiding staff member than the ones using illegal drugs in the workplace.

Astonishing.

Not a headline, but the article states "this week, an 8m-long monitor lizard emerged from a canal", and links to https://www.complex.com/life/giant-lizard-7-eleven-video; where it is called "6 feet long".

6 feet is about 2 meters.  Where did the 4x multiplier come from?  The stuff writers imagination?

It has already been corrected to 1.8 meters. They must really watch this thread.
