I have a desktop running an Intel E7300 CPU on an Asus P5QL-E motherboard; MSI N275GTX graphics card; WD Black Caviar 500GB hard drive and two assorted 200GB hard drive as backups; and an Antec 600 PSU . For mobile use, I have a Sony Xperia X10a. No laptop.

The Sony is impressive with its 4+ inch screen, but its nothing compared to 10 inches of legible goodness that comes with a tablet. Also Sony's checkered history with Android means that Im having to sort through the Android forums online to make sure Im updated with the latest mobile OS; rather than rely on Sony's online updates.

Ive not been keen on lugging a laptop in the past after watching people at work lumbered with them on the move. The Acer bridges the gap nicely between full functionality of a laptop and portability with my Sony.

Struggling to justify why I need it exactly...work laptop, MacBook, iPhone.

But if i was to win it, i wouldn't have to explain the benefits to other half. Therefore I really need it.

I'm still using my trusty old HTC Magic from '09 as my mobile computing solution. I love it, but in all honesty its a pretty terrible experience. Screens far too small, battery only lasts about 7hrs now, and its so soo slowww (Same internals as the G1).

Anyway, I could find a great use for a tablet :D

I've had an idea for a healthcare app (details strictly secret as I don't want y'all poaching my idea) which would be designed for a tablet.

I'm a student, so going out and just buying a tablet isn't financially feasible. I've got an emulator on my laptop, but I really need some hardware to get this project moving.

i'm stuck surfing the web on my works iphone 4. I love android and have a htc wildfire - but the screen is too small to be able to browse properly. A tablet would rock! More android and more resolution. :)

I need a tablet to take up the mount, otherwise I risk ticking off the burning bush ... don't let that happen.

This compaq has had the battery die on it and although it is ok for text it really is a bit small for taking notes and is impossible to use on the internet - especially as it is a mono screen.  The acer looks to be really impressive and a very useful tool...

I'd like a tablet because I want to check out the new MediaPortal remote stuff such as AndRemote. That would be sweet... and Pulse Reader would be nicer on a big screen.
