Why didn't they just confiscate his ouija board?

"Lying on a permanent for lying to a contact racer" ???

EDIT: a possible translation is "lying to obtain a travel permit, or lying to a contact tracer."

I'm confused!(Not!) But how many people will read this and use it as an excuse for flouting?
It seems like an age ago, but when Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced the Level 4 lockdown on Tuesday, it was initially for three days in Auckland and the Coromandel and three days for the rest of the country.

Wasn't initially seven days for Auckland and the Coromandel and three days for the rest of the country?

Yup - they've corrected it now!
I sent them a "shitty" email!
Impossible to get a human on the phone - totally hopeless!
No reply yet either to this: (What I sent)
Why is it so hard to contact you by non-social media, and why do you get it so wrong?

Received a reply from Stuff:
"Hi Murray, thanks for spotting the error and letting us know. It has been corrected.
Kind regards,
The Stuff Team"
That's it. At least I got a reply of sorts, and it's fixed.

Headlines like this really wind me up, implying that the bank has somehow done something wrong when the article clearly states it tried to warn the scammee.
This, Stuff, is one of the reasons why you will never get a cent from me.

If the bank had stopped it, then there'd probably be an article about "bank stops legitimate account holder from sending her own money to friend".
That caption could be fixed by just replacing 'fails' with 'unable'.

Geektastic: "The trial of a New Zealand based social media influencer accused of raping two teens while unconscious has been aborted due to Covid restrictions"
It seems unlikely that anyone who was unconscious could do that.
Sexsomnia.

Sexsomnia.
Or the miraculous conception of T.S. Garp.
What an awful story:
The influencer is charged with six counts of sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection, three counts of blackmail and two counts of aggravated wounding by stupefaction.
Bothers me infinitely more than the NZH grammatical error.
