I have builders here with a radio. Wow, so much s__t talking and ad's and little music.
I certainly hope those builders have paid royalties for listening to that radio. They wouldn't want to be infringing anyone's copyright.

When the systems at work are constantly down or freezing or have a massive delay for weeks on end and no one can fix it or does anything to fix it. Cant get everything done in one day or nearly close and the boss expects you to do so before leaving.

Geektastic: Waking up to find my wife has decided unexpectedly to work from home, thus spoiling the peaceful day I had anticipated...!
Not being able to work from home...

Presumably when they finish on a Friday and open some beers, they won't be breaching the rules that PPNZ has come up with. And would it even be a breach assuming the builders are all employees?

Related - the fact that they have yet to figure out how to use sealed packaging for most meat, so it drips blood all over the rest of your goods, all over their shelving (which is probably a veritable cornucopia of bacteria etc as a result as I doubt that their cleaning regime is particularly well enforced given how slack every other aspect of their management is) and so forth.
Also their apparent inability to print nutritional labels for meat - including statements of fat content differences between minced beef types.
The supermarkets reducing the quality of prime mince so it is now exactly the same as standard grade beef mince. Apart from it having a higher price. They should relabel it subprime mince.

This may be true - but with no labelling apparently required, how are we to know what is even in it?
UK supermarkets differentiate the quality of mince by stating the typical fat content - so the cheap stuff is high fat and the expensive lower fat (to 5% from memory for the best).

The fact that there is apparently absolutely no legal standard for the volume a motorcycle exhaust makes. It was like being at Castle Donnington round here over the weekend - bl**dy annoying!!

United Airlines fiasco dragging the doctor off the over booked flight to give the seat to a United employee. As one commentator has said the staff should have been given the authority to keep offering a higher and higher dollar figure until someone really did volunteer to leave the plane go to a hotel and get the next flight. Then again it's possible that every person on that flight had work or family reasons to make it vital they stay on the plane.
Overbooking should be illegal IMO. It's selling something you do not have.

The odds of a system quirk increases proportionally to the importance of the task too!!!! Nearly always!!
eg, just yesterday, my daughter asks me to insert a word document into her google slides presentation before going to school --- google slides, you'd think it had support for all major file formats --- but no, it has no support for anything except google slides. I cannot believe the school makes the kids use this rubbish.
In the end, I had to turn the word document into a jpg, so she could set it as a background image in one of the slides.
Something should be so easy is so hard.

You willing to pay an extra 20% in your airfares, or have reduced seat availability (maybe 10% of passengers don't turn up for flights).
Overbooking is fine by me, as long as it is handled in a proper manner. The recent united airlines scenario was just handled very poorly.
