No I am still waiting,

And because of the Covid19 I didn't have the heart to apply for refunds so I am at the mercy of the international shipping system.

My guess is it will be several more months if they show up at all.

I will post when they arrive.

I know it's not Ali, but I purchased a couple of items off Gear Best and they arrived last night, exactly two weeks from shipping notification. I'll cross my fingers for my latest Ali purchase.

tracking number means nothing

- for example can be a number of a random parcel (not your parcel)

no goods get refund

Absolutely agree. I've had numerous experiences where the tracking number was for someone else's order, in NZ but not even the same city.

that's exactly my experience!

Ive had that once, Ali seller didnt have stock & used it as a delaying tactic. I did get a refund though.

Ive had plenty of items hit NZ , then another 1 - 2 weeks before handover to local courier .
So once the parcels in NZ , thing can get really slow then anyway .

Generally , pre covid,  I allowed 2 weeks to 2 months for deliveries from China. Just the way it is.
Covid added more uncertainty & delays as less planes flying .

Also didn't claim for refunds on the smaller 'junk' items that haven't arrived.  I did for the mini drone toy for $50 this week, messaged the seller first and they requested choosing the 'personal reasons' instead of 'item didn't arrive' to help with their AliExpress rating.  I did that, with a screenshot of the tracking status from a couple of different sites - Aliexpress, 17Track etc as well.  They are doing the refund and asked if can pay them again if it does arrive. Not sure how would do that, maybe buy it again and say don't bother to send it.

An item bought on 4/4 arrived week before last - Cainiao but I did get NZ Post tracking when it arrived in NZ.

I have another bought on 24/5 that was 'hand over to airline' on the 25/5 and nothing since.

Previous package ordered on 18/05, arrived 02/06.

Current package was ordered 30/05 and has been stuck on the status "Shipped By Air" since 06/06.

ger0in:
These appears to be Cainiao tracking numbers.
Have same shipping career chosen, none of the packages ordered in early March arrived.
Although there was one from China post and it was delivered in April.
Wonder if anyone in NZ received items from cainiao.

Have you received your packages?

Received one today, shipped April 13.

Also received a package from May 15, via China Post. Slower than usual, but NZ Post is to blame for at least ten of those days.

I'm pretty sure that NZ post have a big pile of packages that come in from overseas and because they get no income from delivering them (it's some kind of international treaty on postal delivery) they stack up and when they have some spare capacity it their trucks they fill it with a stack of these "2nd class" packages.

I have noticed that I tend to receive these in blocks which bear no correlation (that I can see) to ordering date or estimated delivery date.

Like many others I see on the tracking info packages having arrived in NZ and they just sit there for any time from a day or 2 to well over a month. Generally these eventually arrive, the ones that get stuck in processing, or have incomplete tracking info are the ones that usually end up been disputed and a refund given.

Most recent one for me was "no tracking info available", when disputed the sellers answer was "Wait", then this was changed to "Our shipper couldn't ship to your country, but still wait" yeah right, like I'm going to continue to wait for a package you told me wasn't shipped. Refund was approved by aliexpress

3 items ordered just prior to lockdown: 2 refunded due to buyer protection period ending and item not delivered / 1 turned up. but yeah no surprise given circumstances.

Have taken a punt on 2 more orders today - will be interesting to see how long they take.

I think the number of parcels that comes from China is much higher than from NZ to China. So I don't think nzpost does it for free.
China post parcels seems to be delivered. Cainiao and SunYou is complete rubbish. I have around 4 of them now stuck, saying arrived in destination country for the last 3 months. Avoid using these careers.
I also purchased one item using epacket after lockdown, still saying - "Departure country of origin" for the last 1 month
