JWR:
KiwiNZ: Ancient Aliens, it is by far the best comedy on TV right now.

Now, they only put the nasal guy and weird hair guy on at then end of the episode.

That's what I look forward to the most!!

Watched most of Moone Boy over the weekend. The whole family enjoyed it - a sort of old-school BritCom. Kind of an Irish version of The Wonder Years or The Goldbergs, with the Irish guy from The IT Crowd as the lead boy's imaginary friend.

I watched American Crime over the last few weeks. Quite a hard hitting drama. Thought that it was a pretty decent and realistic view of the criminal justice system in the US. It has had pretty good reviews too.

I like that. Saw the first series and then sort of missed it.

richrdh18: On Netflix went and watched the first few episodes of Cheers and Mash.  Really funny and well written comedy.  So much better than today's rubbish.

We gave been watching Frasier again from the start, comedy gold.

Never seen it.

Seemed to lack guns, car chases, explosions and/or aliens.

Yes, none of these.

Women, sex, whisky, cigarettes and advertising.

The first 3 are good.

But, the last two aren't.

Yeah love watching Suits. Not the best show ever made but easy to watch and has some funny characters.

Mr Robot.

Just watched the pilot and it looks promising.

It's underground, hacking type series. But, it is much better done than anything else I can recall in this line.

The main character is particularly well acted. He has the perfect psycho, strung-out demeanor for the part.

We have been enjoying Outlander, Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones. While we wait for the next episodes of those to come onto Blu-Ray and Lightbox we have started to watch True Detective.

I'm finding this a really good series. It is interesting, builds on characters well while still keeping the plot going along nicely. I think Mathew McConaughey is excellent in this. Highly recommend checking it out.
