When you can remember travelling on the free NAC bus from their central Christchurch depot to Christchurch Airport.  To get on the bus you had to show the driver a NAC ticket for travel that day.

I remember doing that in Auckland. Couldn't you also "check-in" at the downtown offices?

You get a 10 year badge from some dodgy forum frequented by middle aged men.

Or when, at this dodgy forum, you dunno if the poster is 16 or 76

...you and some friends spend your Sunday constructing a kit building animal shelter, run out of time to put the roof on and feel so knackered by the end of the day that you feel you must have walked the entirety of the Pennine Way, not just nailed and screwed wood together...

I think so not sure about Auckland but I seem to remember that you could check in at the Wellington city terminal.

You help your stepson move into his flat which is all the way down 4 flights of steep stairs and can hardly walk for two days (and counting) afterwards.

Wait till he moves out....

I was at work the other day, and mentioned the song, You Can Call Me Al, by Paul Simon, and most of the young people there had never heard of it. So I started singing it, "you must have heard it".... NOPE...
