In a car park, you see someone hop in their car to leave. By the time they've fluffed around and finally leave, you could have read a short novel.

In addition, when there is a long queue of traffic where the front car is waiting a lengthy time for someone to exit the carpark. Even worse,  there are a whole bunch of empty spaces a bit further up but it is a slightly longer walk!!

People are so lazy when it comes to parking.

Online news sites using Google street view screen grabs as their pictures for news stories.

I realise that they can't get to every location (especially remote ones) pronto, but anyone can go and look at street view for themselves.

Yeah, because everyone is happy to wait 4 days to get the answer to a question about if something is in stock or something. Posted letters are a relic and should die alongside linear broadcast prerecorded television.

Imho this is the average time car parts suppliers take to respond to a similar email question.

We have this great invention for getting more immediate answers, called...the telephone. You enter someone else's number and they answer and you can speak to them and ask them right there and then...

People who don't answer their telephone, yet if you send them an email or txt message, you get a reply always immediately. Due to my job, im rarely in front of a desktop computer, so typing an email that is more than a sentence or 2 takes ages to do on a cellphone. And while you are doing so people thing that you are txting your friends or on Facebook. Yet it so happens that cellphones are a good device for making phone calls from.

I only answer pre arranged phone calls. No need for me to be contactable ever in an "emergency" that some people seem to manage to invent in their heads.

'Emergency' is fairly ambiguous I suppose, but if I can help any close friends or family with anything they can call me 24/7.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

So if friends want to ring to ask you over to their place for dinner, you don't want to know about it?

My phone is switched off at night. Can't think of anything likely to happen whilst I am asleep that would require immediate action.

House on fire? Your car has just been stolen? Father kidnapped by terrorists? Missile launched at US by DPRK? Comet about to strike earth? Alien invasion?

Well, if my house was on fire it would be the fire alarm that told me about that. Father dead for 5 years. Not sure how ringing me about the missile will change the outcome - likewise the comet or the aliens..!
