"This diverse setup offers two methods of healing, one in the form of 'contact mode' where you can physically feel the frequencies flowing through the body, & another mode called 'remote mode' where the frequencies are delivered to the body via a phenomenon called Quantum Entanglement (DNA Entanglement) - This is a non contact method... Just place your DNA sample i.e (finger nail clipping) into the remote device & receive the healing frequencies all day long as you go about your day."

Saddest thing is, some people will actually part with real money for the likes of this, and swear black n blue that it works.

"If you write anything criticising editing or proofreading, there will be a fault of some kind in what you have written."

In this case, misspelling "stationery" as "stationary".

Even as a teenager I often got the spelling wrong until my first boss said “Remember that stationery has an e and so does envelope.” Haven’t spelt it wrong since. 😀

Or you can remember stationery is sold by a stationer.

Received a link to a shared folder containing some images. Each image (8000 x 8000 pixels) was 100 MB.

Resized one down to 1024 pixels and it shrunk to 350 KB.

The originals must have been in BMP format.

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell

Hehe.

Received a folder of work photos from a colleague - all in a funny apple phone format that windows refuses to open.

Sorry, we all have windows machines at work, you're going to have to export them all again.

That is not an apple format, it is a media format, and android phones use it nowadays too

I presume you're talking about HEIF, which is an open standard and not created by Apple. Microsoft offers an "extension": https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9pmmsr1cgpwg

I am !! It might be offered but if it's not installed, it's way easier to get the pictures reformatted than get IT to do something.

With an average rating of 1.6 out of a possible 5 stars, I can't imagine it's a good solution...
