I have a desktop computer and an old MacBook. But my wife keeps stealing the MacBook from me so that she can go online comfortably on the bed, and I am stuck in the study. Winning the Acer Iconia A500 tablet would be great so that I can go online comfortably from anywhere as well. Although I think my wife would probably steal it instead so that I have to use the old MacBook. What some of us guys have to live with, eh?

This is my existing tablet:

My existing tablet

(There are a lot of chemicals in the water where I live).

I'd like this tablet to be able to monitor various wireless devices around my house, currently I have to fire up my netbook every time I want to do this.  A tablet would be nice always-on portable monitor for them.

Currently using an ACER netbook but battery life is hopeless. The tablet would be great.

I currently don't have a tablet but would love to have one to give the other half so she can check facebook and email while I stay on the real computer.

I only have a toilet not a tablet - I hear the tablet is much cleaner in the design

My beloved Dell XPS was stolen recently,
I think the dudes who stole it were ill mentally.
It's sad that our city is now full of thugs,
who loot the innocent and spread drugs.

So right now I'm fixin up an old AMD
but 8 years is *too* old.. don't you agree?
I might be able to run Word and all,
but what if I wanted to take my rig to the mall?

So I think that a tablet would be ideal for me
As I can carry it with me instead of lettin it be.
I could read all my books and watch youtube too,
take it to the kitchen and learn to cook fondue.

Imagine playin Angry Birds on this screen,
can't wait to get them pigs in HD.. that'll be mean!

I don't particularly like any computers but having acquired an early Apple Lisa I have stuck to Apples since.

One of these pads though looks like it might make things a lot simpler

I can't get a photo loaded either, despite actually reading and following the instructions. It said it was loaded but nothing has appeared yet.

Anything has to be better than the bottle messages! Seriously though we are looking for a tablet to replace an iPod touch for our Autistic son who does not speak and hope he can use it as a communication aid which will really improve his quality of life. Winners never quit, quitters never win!  Cant see how to include an image - tried every which way but it doesnt seem to appear even though it is saved in Geekzone.

I don't own a tablet or a laptop, I would like one to keep me busy on the daily train commute (lets pretend I'd use it for work :-) ).

I would love this tablet - I have an iPad one and its a little too basic for me.  Does everything I guess but the apps are not very rich.  Especially don't like the Email client on the iPad, and Safari isnt brilliant either.  Oh for a richer functionality email client for the iPad
