Never been into "new years resolution" nonsense, but I deleted all my browser bookmarks to the herald and will not be visiting that website this year (except when rickrolled by other 'news' articles)

Not necessarily a dumb headline, but IMO this article

is poorly written and amateurish overall. The writer seems seems to have no idea what she's writing about.

 

At one point it says: "The 230 horsepower pistol radius engine is very loud - but can reach speeds of 400 kilometres per hour".

 

- The aircraft has two engines
- They're radial piston engines, each producing about
- 1,200 horsepower
- The engine doesn't really 'reach speeds' - the aircraft does.

 

DC3's are not particularly 'rare' - there's a lot of them still flying worldwide - and this plane is not really 'one of the last surviving'.
