I've been enjoying some TV of late, having been sick over the last couple of weeks.

Peacemaker S2 (Prime) - really enjoying that it's just taken up where it left off and has also taken a slight leaf out of The Boys' book and added a little more...oomph.

Invasion S2 (Apple TV+) - not enjoying this anywhere near as much as I enjoyed the first season and finding this altogether too slow and fractured. Needed to be dropped as a complete season, not a week-by-week episodic release.

Reacher S2 (Prime)  - thoroughly enjoyable and I look forward to starting the new season.

Foundation S3 (Apple TV+) - still really enjoying this, but would have preferred to watch it in one go, rather than weekly episode drops.

Acapulco S4 (Apple TV+)  - it's largely lost it's way, but I am invested and this is the final season, so I'll stick with it.

I have become a big fan of New Tricks and Silent Witness, both old BBC series available for streaming. Unfortunately I have now worked my way through all the episodes and am desperately looking for something like them to fill the hole. Suggestions requested and welcome. I already watch Vera and Brokenwood so something other than those.

Have watched the first couple of episodes of Your Friends and Neighbors on Apple TV+

A fascinating and dark drama set in the ultra-rich neighbourhoods of New York, where the wealthy indulge themselves and one small change in circumstances can lead to a series of very interesting events.
The main character, Coop, is a Hedge Fund Manager who loses his job and struggles to keep up with the Friends and Neighbours...so he finds a new way to fund the lifestyle

Starring John Hamm, Amanda Peat and a bunch of very capable supporting cast, this has taken us a bit by surprise as we didn't really know what to expect from it...but we're enjoying it a great deal.

Tried watching the Brit reality and so-called travel show Destination X on TVNZ+ (also on iPlayer). Watched the first episode and, against my better judgement, the second - then gave up.

Pathetic and unwatchable IMO - not least because I can’t stand the host, Rob Brydon. He makes a poor show worse.

Do you have Acorn TV for streaming? It’s cheap and has a huge number of older Brit shows available.

Probably not aimed at that demographic.

Can think of a few in general, just not sure about if/where they stream - Endeavour, Unforgotten, any Marple series, Law & Order, Grantchester, Prime Suspect, The Americans< George Gently, Foyle's War, Professor T, Patience, Ridley, Shetland, Wallander...

I can access most stuff (like Brit TV) so that is not an issue, I was just looking for suggestions of things that might appeal to me. I have to say I am not particularly taken with Amercan fare. Not a criticism, it just doesn't appeal much (with the occasional noteworthy exception).

Fair enough (though the 2 American items in that list count as exceptions IMHO).

If you can live with subtitles (or speak French), I recommend the original, Astrid et Raphaëlle, it's better.

As for other suggestions in the crime drama genre...

Subtitles don't bother me. I am also a fan of Nordic Noir.
