spearsniper: Someone with a full trolley of groceries at the 10 item or less express lane. Normally always in front of you when you are in a hurry.

Or someone going through the self-checkout with a trolley load of hand-selected veggies and fruit with no bar codes. Takes them ages to find each item, weight it, and get into the bag, during which time the auto-checkout will usually tell them "seek assistance"....and stop dead.

Oh, which brings to mind another thing along those lines.... the new layout for KMart in Albany with the checkouts in the middle, what muppet thought that was a good idea - now you get bag checked every time you want to leave because youve had to walk through half the store with your purchased items. And then the checkouts fail all the time, poor staff are run off their feet trying to keep them going.

Fake statistics that state 95 - 100% of cases .....

If it is 100% of cases then it is 100% not a range!

My GF says I should let it go but is annoys me.

Oh and people taken offence on behalf of others.

I confess I wait a few seconds due to nearly being taken out by red light runners on a few occasions

which reminds me of another, that incredibly hard to open plastic packaging that cuts ones fingers and brings on rage and colourful metaphors

Even worse are the ones with handy little easy-open slit or flap that doesn't actually make it any easier to open. Alongside the rage, out comes a sharp knife then, oops.

Have to agree - its best not to take off too quick or you risk getting T-boned!

Did make me think though - during the holidays in Auckland there seemed to have been a lot of people driving around that dont know how traffic lights work. There were about 3 occasions where I was waiting at the lights to turn and the car at the front of the lane had stopped so far back from the road sensor that the lights would not bring up a turn arrow. Eventually someone behind would toot and wave at the moron at the front and they would move forward a metre or so and magically the lights started working.

... such as the Foodstuffs milk (Budget?), where the top seal - which has a flap to pull to aid removal - is now so firmly fixed that the flap just rips off, necessitating a knife to stab through the seal...

This, particularly when you're trying to unwrap scissors or a box cutter. Might as well pack a tin opener in a sealed tin.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

A lack of "pleases" and "thank-yous' on this forum - how hard is it you use these words when asking for/receiving help/advice??!!

A misuse of the term "percentage" when the writer/speaker actually means "percentage point".

People who don't signal.

People who signal incorrectly at roundabouts.

When you search for something specific online like "change canvas color in paint.net" hoping it will lead to a useful answer or forum. Click on the first Google result... looks promising. And someone has answered a non-answer. Like "hey don't do that do this!" ... oh wow that's helpful.

A much more useful way to answer goes something like "should probably do xyz instead because blah blah blah. but if you really want to do what you're asking then do abc"
