quickymart:
Inappropriate behaviour towards a female colleague at TVNZ, and several at Al Jazeera. IMO, the fact that he just resigned without hardly a word doesn't look good. If he was innocent he wouldn't have left, would he? Especially when you consider he came halfway around the world to take this job and barely stayed a month. However a major concern is that this wasn't picked up on prior to him being hired by TVNZ.
Not necessarily. The allegations alone can be enough to ruin a career and it's conceivable someone would resign rather than being dragged through the mud.
And maybe the allegations were picked up, but there was no evidence. Also, inappropriate behavior could mean anything.
I have no knowledge of his innocence or guilt of whatever the allegations are, but it bothers me that men seem to be assumed guilty based on allegation alone.
