When I'm going iPhone4, which mean I will not be able to do what I can with my current Palm Treo Pro and WMWiFiRouter... So something like this will alleviate such problem :-)

I'll just use it when I'm out and about. I have many devices with WiFi and it'd be great to be always online. A few ideas that spring to mind:

- I can use it to Remote Play my PSP/PS3. All my music, photos, TV (via PlayTV) delivered over the net straight to my PSP
- Online derivatives trading, building my fortune

I could go on and on...

I'd love to put this little thing in our shop, and stop my two little cousins complaining about why they can't go on Facebook at the shop. Mind you, they won't do any work if we get WiFi at the shop.

May be I won't tell them that this is a WiFi router. It could easily pass as a bar code scanner of some description. ;-)

Thanks.

Wow, that's just what I would like for my next holiday to check emails. iPod Touch and this little beauty will give me an iPhone. Well nearly!

I thoght I could utilise the mast we have out the back of work and offer free wifi to the closest 5 people in range - there is also an added benefit that the lights on the device can also be used as a beacon for low flying planes.

I have created an image of what it could look like.

I'll use it around town and in night clubs and keep it hidden in my pocket to "magically" give 5 people free internet access until I leave :)

I bow before your awesome shopping skills! That router looks like it grew on that mast.

I'd use it to ignore the family during the holiday festivities coming up, make it that much more bearable being able to get on Geekzone where my real family are

if i win this i would: use it to access geekzone forums this summer from the middle of the river with my android tablet. i would be pretending to fish in with my mad as fishing mate, i would cutting the fly off the rod so that i would not get annoyed by the dam fish on the hook. thus keeping my mate happy and my geek needs covered. win + win.

Basically our internet at work goes down occasionally because of our ISP - and working as a Web Developer this isn't very good.
I start before anyone else at work and sometimes need to wait a while before anyone can come in and remedy the situation.

If I won the 2degrees router I could continue to work with our main internet down which would be great!
And if other staff come in, we can all use the internet until it's fixed : )

Thanks guys!
Keep the comps coming!

My plans for this would be sitting down with my mates at the Cossie club in front of Trackside using our netbooks to do online betting and drinking beer. Getting up to bet just cuts into our drinking time.
