networkn: It's a bit of a laugh to term the caddy as a sportsman, he is a tactician in my opinion. He doesn't actually compete in a sport as such.
Probably not that far removed from Butterworth or Coutts then! I suppose they steer a little bit.
I think Woods is simply getting is comeuppance. I like Williams, he's a brilliant caddie, and if caddies are so valueless then why was he hung onto by Tiger for so long. I think it's a massive win for Adam Scott, the broomstick has got him to the level of his ball striking.
I think Williams could have been slightly more tactful, but, hey, CBS set it up knowing what would happen. I think it's good for Scott, let Williams have the limelight, and use him to post low numbers.
Obviously it was pretty oppressive under Woods, and for Williams to say it was the most satisfying wins is probably not far off the truth, two years of weathering a storm of crap, then probably saving Scott 6 or so strokes to help in win.
But yeah, media beat up.
