I have two packages arrived in NZ yesterday too, but no way of finding the courierpost tracking number for the packages. I suspect the packages will turn up before I get that information.

Got notification package arrived at warehouse on the 8th, paid for it less than 10minutes after getting said email. Still waiting for it to be dispatched.

Just got my VFFs today, so not too bad delivery time wise, but the tracking sucks!

They made an error and allocated my parcel to someone elses account. So after contacting them I only got the email today (parcel was delivered to them on the 3rd). Just paid for it...would be nice to get it this week but Im not getting my hopes up.

My experience with YouShop started off good... but has since gone from bad to worse.

The first item I ordered was a Kindle and a case, both got shipped in separate packages (even though I said not to).
The case arrived at the warehouse, paid for it and I received it 3 days later.
The Kindle arrived at the warehouse a week later, paid for the shipping, but the kindle didn't arrive for another 1 week after it had shipped because they forgot to put the company name on the nz shipping address (even though the first package had it).
So I had to contact NZ post and ask where it was, and they said it kept on being redelivered because they didn't know where it was going, but I eventually got it.

The second item I ordered was a screwdriver kit from ifixit.
The package arrvied at YouShop on the 28th, 2 weeks later I have still not had a notification from YouShop saying that the package has arrived.
I contacted YouShop and they are "Looking into it" but they can't find any indication of it.

The 3rd package I sent arrived 2 days ago and have not had a notification from YouShop about it either...

I might go back to using shipto, at least they are reliable.

I cancelled my order for 2 Nexus 4s purely because of the YouShop doubts, I just don't trust it to go without a hitch. Kind of defeats the object of the service if you can't trust that your goods will ever arrive!

I trust that my goods will arrive, or that NZ post will compensate me. I just put through US$250 worth of goods. The delays and lack of tracking doesn't inspire confidence though. If I wanted to reship anything really expensive I'd probably look at another service.

I suspect what you can rely on with Post is their integrity and compensation for lost packages. Their delivery service is another matter.

I've used youshop 4 times now and not had one issue with tracking or delivery times. I get tracking details when the item arrives in New Zealand then an email when the item is delivered at my house..

Maybe I'm just lucky..

I am not complaining - yet. Just thought that volumes should be high to take almost two working days between delivery and notification/payment instructions email.

We are in the same boat, im waiting for the "we have shipped" email. I paid for mine on Saturday and was hoping it would have left by now. If it hasn't been dispatched by end of day tomorrow i will be chasing it up.

So this is my order history:

First:
Arrived USA Sep 27
Left USA Sep 28
Arrived NZ Oct 1
Delivered Oct 2

Second:
Arrived USA Oct 27
Left USA Oct 31
Arrived NZ Nov 6
Delivered Nov 8

Third: (I forgot it arrived and didn't pay till Nov 21)
Arrived USA Nov 16
Left USA Nov 22
Arrived NZ Nov 26
Delivered Nov 28

Fourth:
Arrived USA Dec 12

Will see how long it takes this time round.

If you have signature delivery ticked then it comes via Courier Post, otherwise if you don't it just comes via standard NZ Post. The second and third used standard NZ Post for delivery as I got sick of picking packages up from Courier Post

An update in my case:

Arrived in US warehouse: 7 Dec
Left US warehouse: 8 Dec
Just arrived in NZ: 12 Dec (just received an email from Youshop)

Now just finger crossed to see how long from arrival to delivery at my doorstep

I received my YouShop parcel today.

December 1 - Arrived at YouShop warehouse
December 7 - Left YouShop warehouse (not happy about that delay at all)
December 11 - Arrived in NZ
December 12 - Delivered to my Christchurch address

So apart from the long delay before it left the USA, I'm pleased with the service.

The big unknown, though, is whether the supplier will put a small item in a large box, resulting in a ridiculous volumetric shipping charge.

Received confirmation that it is on its way, 2 working days in the states to get it out the door, which is acceptable. ETD of 23rd December, as long as there's no customs hold ups its looking good!
