I could so do with an Acer tab. Sometimes a laptop is just too much, like when I just want to send a tweet or watch videos on the train. My sad little Nokia won't cut the mustard!
Like another gentleman who has already posted, as an Android tablet enthusiast on a budget I bought an Eken M001. As a basic backlit e-reader itś ok. As a mobile computer..... well 128MB RAM just does not seem to cut it somehow. Angry birds is just not the same when you have to wait a minute for the screen to scroll after you swipe your finger ;-)
I work in a consumer electronics retail store and I would use the Aver Iconia tablet as a demo to show customers there are options for quality tablets on the market. We have months of back orders for the iPad2 but don't even have the decency to display alternative tablets!
I do not have a tablet PC at present. Current personal hardware comprises a Sony Noteboom, a LG p500 Android Phone and numerous twitched off computers which used to run Linux and Windows XP.
I would like a tablet becuase it is the ideal size (and hopefully weight) for reading books, mainly novels, in bed as I fall to sleep. The iPad is too heavy and the screen too big for that so I'm looking to an Android whatchimacalit to fill the 7-8 inch gap in my reading life.
I have now my old heavy mega-laptop (with dead battery), and my Google Nexus One cell phone.
I'm doing more and more on my phone and less on the lappy (desktop these days), but the phone screen is too small to be a good work surface.
I'm just started a new role as a business analyst and would love to bring the tablet into my work to show off documents in progress and concepts and to also record voice and even video interviews, take basic notes, and draw simple diagrams with users and stakeholders. This would be soooo coool!!!
Having a decent sized tablet (which this Acer Iconia is) would give me a real dynamic canvas to work from. This is exciting thinking of how the tablet would help me streamline requirements elicitation, analysis and solution design. Plus it'll be a great way to read and mark-up things on the fly.
As an added bonus picture, here's me oogling over the Acer Iconia A500 just recently :-)
It's good to see a strong tablet coming out with good peripheral support. This is nice!!

I deserve one because I currently have nothing! Well I have a desk top of course but no laptop let alone something as flash as the Acer. I do steal my 10 year old's iPod Touch. It's sad I am jealous of my 10 year old lol!
I currently don't own any Tablet. :( I'd Love to get my hands on an Acer 500 And Wow a 32Gig SDcard sweet :)
You know how much i could Geek out on that Best.. My Wife would have to skype me just to get my Attention ;-)
Thanks Geekzone.. and to the Mystery Geek zoner
