Behodar:

Another case of an online retailer apparently manually transcribing addresses; address on order confirmation was correct but address on actual package was wrong. Credit to CourierPost for figuring out the right place though!

Check that everything was entered correctly on the invoice too. If they get an address wrong then the whole thing is likly to be manual.

The way the internet always knows what I'm looking for but never knows when I've actually bought it, so it can stop bl**dy pestering me with ads for something I already own and will only ever need one of.

Auto-correct is why I have crust issues.

I haven't opened it yet (it's a birthday present, and I still have a few days to go) but it'll be interesting to check the invoice if there's one in there.

This is more of an amusement than an annoyance:

We were playing Trivial Pursuit last night. I knew that it was a fairly old set, but it still threw me when one of the questions was "What is the name of the Russian city that used to be called St Petersburg?"

Don't you love ancient games? tongue-out

There wasn't one.

People who can't differentiate between an opinion vs. explanation for why something/someone behaved in a certain way.

People dumping their unwanted animals. Three kittens were dumped outside the PN SPCA on Friday. Poor babies are three weeks old, tops. Luckily for them, there was a mother cat willing to foster them.

Being cruel to kittens takes a special kind of callousness. This may not have been intentional cruelty but it certainly qualifies as stupid indifference.

I'm not sure leaving them outside the SPCA constitutes cruelty exactly. Clearly the person leaving them expected the SPCA would actually look after them and re home them.

Parking Enforcement Services thinking they can get $65 out of me for being 20mins late to my car. Just more annoying I have to dispute it and say they can't legally fine me and find a way to give them $4.

Deposit the $4 in their account and send them a note that you've paid with calculations to show it was a fair amount - I suggest a bit more than  $4 - be generous and make it $10, and remind them that it was a generous offer.

When you get a note back saying that they reject the offer and want to refund the $10 - so need your bank a/c number. reply asking that if they insist. then you require a bank cheque or cash refund only, and remind them that this confirms that you dispute any amount they feel is owed them, unless they provide proof of costs incurred.

F$%K Parking Enforcement Services.

Selling an old (30 years) used vehicle 'as is" on TM.  After less than a day, I've had 25 text messages asking if I'll do a cash deal outside TM (no), there are 120 "bidders/watchers", 5 bids and not one person has asked about viewing the vehicle.  I'm becoming very confident that some idiot will win the auction by paying far too much, sight unseen - and that they will consider this to be entirely my fault.

Hmmm - finally someone turned up to inspect - with a large but appropriate value wad of cash, and with an understanding that if anything goes wrong, then it's 100% their problem - not mine.

I'm still getting text messages - despite withdrawing the auction (and being honest and paying TM's success fee).

I'd already bought a replacement vehicle from a seller who owed more on finance than the purchase price, delays getting security lifted etc under those circumstances another annoyance.
