Car Dealers gouging for new keys, case in point:: A new Ford Focus key with security programing will cost me $181.00 and the bloke at ford tried to tell me it takes 30mins to program the RFID ......... WAFJ

Only $180? A new key for my Commodore is about $450. More if it's to replace 1 lost key as they have to reprogram any other keys you still have.

And tbey charged me $180 to do a software update that literally took 10 minutes - most of which was unattended while it installed. Damn gouging dealers.

People who take themselves too seriously and are too hard on themselves.  We're all only human after all and you know the saying "To err is human, to forgive divine".

They must be doing a good job of the cryptography if there are no 3rd party/aftermarket options. Also, report to commerce commission ; ).

Automatic hand dryers that don't seem to start, no matter how much you wave your hands under them.

when people reply to a thread with an answer, without first reading the previous posts to see if that answer had been provided already*.

(*) there were 34 pages on this thread, so I didn't bother to read back and see if anyone has already provided this answer.

ISPs that give crap service and can't be reached by telephone but magically have a representative on Geekzone who fixes everything after a public complaint is made.

Mine would be places that provide crap service, and respond to any query with the answer to ring them and one of their staff will fix whatever it is. If I wanted to ring them I would have done that already FFS. I dont want to ring which is why I try to contact online.

Yet another: Generic sound cards sold without drivers, and the difficulty of finding drivers that actually work.

And the related "we won't bother with providing any documentation about how to use the hardware, as we'll just assume that everyone will use the bundled software".
