Handsomedan:

...Getting home to find a Lime scooter at the end of the driveway, knowing I have some free credit and taking it for a blat around the neighbourhood, still dressed in a suit (straight from work), with the kids.

I hope it was at the ‘correct’ end of the drive - would be a pain having to get out of the car to move the scooter so that you can get into the drive. I’m only half joking because I suspect these things lying around the place may become a problem.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Ha ha...it was at the "right" end of the drive indeed!

Wow, what a masterpiece! Amazing work. Would have been quite pricey I imagine.

If you're driving through Oamaru, you should drop in and take a look.  Of course I doubt castle tours are on offer.
The food in the cafe/restaurant is surprisingly excellent.  You can make up your own mind on the rest, large barns full of quite remarkable quantities and qualities of chinese made merchandise for sale etc. I was gobsmacked.

Heh, I can't really imagine myself in that part of the country any time soon but I'll keep it in mind.

That McDonalds in Singapore still "whizz" a McFlurry to stir it all up, unlike NZ who, although calling it the same thing, present you nothing different from their standard sundae.

That I managed to successfully install an aftermarket stereo into my daughter's newly purchased 2007 Swift import...including getting the steering wheel controls to work.

From what looked like this (pic stolen of the internet, I didn't take one before taking out the old unit)

To this:

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

It's only 45km/h but it's fun and it's ours! It was swapped for a falcon ute I was sick of paying rego ($980pa) on.

Ok, now I have to walk the bins up the road, but totally worth  it!

Hell yes, especially at 9am on a sunday morning. Fresh air, no traffic.

The joys of living 800 metres from the biggest river in the country (unfortunately the boat ramp is a bit further away).
