Anyone keen to club in on buying a couple hundred dollars US ITUNES CARDS (between us - I'm good for the first hundred) and waiting for them to ship the actual cards? Seems cheaper than paying the percentages the resellers and 'digital' suppliers charge?

Pm me if keen :)

*edited for what I meant to be talking about Lol!

It is so much easier to just pay 5-10% extra and get an email in a couple of minutes with the code, instead of waiting weeks and still have to pay shipping anyway, which will probably be more than the commission around.

Also, what if the box comes with "iTunes cards value US$500" and New Zealand customs look at the declared value and charges 15% GST? That would foil your scheme right there.

Missed that :(

I have some credit remaining on my us iTunes, so a couple weeks wouldn't worry me, but not getting tem ... NOT good.

I have no worries paying conversion rates for nz-us$ but paying $55+ US for a $50us credit just seems wrong?

Can't wait till the net is the norm for digital content, and price gouging zones disappear... Just, when it's so easy to get content without paying, why do they make it so hard to pay for it (in the same timeframe) I wonder?

What is customs Procedure with you shop. Have nexus 10 arrived in NZ last Tuesday and guess customs have to clear it due to $ value. But have heard nothing, how do I pay customs and will they get in touch with me?

doesn't sound right that they would wait 6+ days to tell you there is money owing?

If that is right, that sucks

Do they have your contact details correctly?

Nothing to do with me, I just saw the thread above and thought it might be good to link it here.

Short version appears to be that UPS delivered to the YouShop, some guy who works there signed for it, subsequently went missing, and NZ Post is telling the buyer it's not their problem.

Cautionary tale perhaps.

Have used YouShop 7 times now. Very happy customer. Great service and shipping prices to NZ are very reasonable.

Do whatever you want to do man.

+1 what he said

sometimes i wish it was a little faster, but you get what you pay for

when i had a problem with missing stuff in Oregon, they sorted quickly, the sender used slightly wrong details

I'm finding more and more us sites ship direct now

this week I've bought from bhphoto and from crucial
32gb laptop ram
256g msata ssd
2 x 512gb Samsung 840 Pro Ssd

and all shipped direct here, only about us30 a shipment but in theory here in a week
