Wow Australia Post actually replied to my tweet..... its still sitting at the airport. Theyve suspended ALL economy parcel deliveries - standard parcel delivery is delayed. Dunno what mine was sent as.........
Did they say how long they are suspended for?
Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!
I ordered something from Masterton on Monday evening, it was shipped on Tuesday via NZ Couriers and arrived today (Wednesday) in Whanganui.
All good in the lower North Island, is this actually an Auckland problem?

Auckland has been okay for the last few weeks, and even longer with other carriers like NZ Couriers
It's just the very odd item I am finding gets held up a bit at east tamaki, some come very quickly and others will sit for an extra week and come when another item is sent
International is another story. Still have items waiting for cargo space since Feb/March
I feel your pain!
Anyone had any experience submitting a lost item thing via eBay? It's starting to look like I'll go down that road - or do I just do a chargeback via my bank?

Show off :)
I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.
On the 15th May I ordered new spectacle lens from SpecSavers. I was told that it would take 3 to 5 weeks for them to be made and come from Melbourne. This was due entirely, according to SpecSavers, to the couriers on both sides of the Tasman. Previously, 2 years ago, it only took approximately 2 weeks. We are coming upto 4 weeks this coming Monday.
Jez I miss my transition lens. 😎
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

@xpd - I ordered some bike parts on 29 May, using Aus Post "Standard International Service" started in Sydney 1 June, arrived Auckland 10 June, and delivered in Taranaki on 11 June.
I must be one of the lucky ones.
Not Courier Post (obviously), but I have a laser that has been stuck in Moscow since 30/4/20. The vendor (Endurance Lasers) kindly sent me another, this time shipped via DHL. That one got to Sydney in a couple of days, and has been stuck there a couple of days, awaiting Customs clearance. Dunno what that is about... awaiting an explanation from DHL.
And a PandaPi PCB that stuck in The Netherlands for about 2 weeks, but is now on the way to NZ. :)
