eracode: So he asked why, I said “Is there any particular reason that you’re late today?” [No.] “You kept me waiting 20 minutes without apology. You’re always late and this is your first appointment of the day. Do you think your time is more important than mine? I’m a professional person too and time is money to me. I find your repeated lateness high-handed and arrogant”.

Not suggesting you've sabotaged your chances for optimal life-saving care from that GP, but I'd suggest that you've opened up the possibility of being subjected to more than hoped for discomfort in any future prostate exam.

Not sure what definition of "they censor the internet" is being used, but that 2.4 billion euro fine last year was probably slightly annoying to Google.

It's annoying that I might miss seeing some search results because the companies associated with those websites fell out of favour with Google, but a small price to pay at the moment.

I personally still use Google. It has the answers I need, and I don't subscribe the "they censor the Internet" conspiracy theories.

Ask it something a liberal do gooder would really dislike.

You'll only get results that counter the point of view expressed in the question and almost none, of any, that support it....

Haha - yeah maybe. Actually things remained totally amicable over the following few appointments - but then when we moved away I metaphorically flipped him the bird before he could ........

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Doctor's appointments. They are never, ever, ever on time. Why don't they just make them a half-hour later?

Because they would rather have their patients wait than to be sitting idle.

You're right! I've just asked Google "Are Nazis good people?" and all the answers clearly express the opposite - Nazis aren't good people according to Google.

It must be a conspiracy!

I'm sorry but Google's answer is wrong. The answer should have been "... weren't good people" or the question should have been "Are Neonazis good people?"

There is conspiracy and historical forgery!

No. But it is censorship because dollars to Donuts there's articles it there saying they are good people. However Google never showed those, putting instead only one possible answer to your question: the one it would prefer you to believe rather than allowing you to make your mind up.
So many youngsters get so much of their information from Google that that sort of slanting could actually have a measurable effect in due course.

Inconsistent corner signage.

I'm wending my way along the West Coast at the moment. Some corners have heaps of signs warning of the severity and the appropriate speed.
Many of them don't need them as they are quite benign.

Then just along the road are various mad dangerous bends which have absolutely no signs at all....

Some consistency in approach would be appreciated!

You missed the joke. There's only one right answer to this question, ever and Google is right - Nazis were not, are not and never will be good people. There's no "let's have a second look" in this specific case, regardless of what "liberals" or "conservatives" say.
