I've been unironically listening to Christmas Rock, a station on iHeart Radio.

It's really got me in the mood, while things are a bit...um...hectic.

On that note - I heard the sound of summer - cicadas - this week for the first time.

I ‘scored’ a brand new TEAC mini DAC audio amplifier (eARC, USB-C, BT, …) at the lowest price ever, completely unexpectedly and in a relaxed manner, the price of which was like a plank at a higher level in the past. Just the right thing for my second, small Teufel streamer in the makerspace. They were sold out yesterday early morning online after 6 AM within an hour. 🙂

Waking up each morning knowing that I don't have to go to work anymore. Been retired for 5 weeks.

Some habits die hard - still get up at 6am though.

Is that the one where the first had no mission location indicators? You just had to try and work it out with no guidance?

ChatGPT says yes. They did change that over time. I struggled getting into it many years ago but they have done a huge amount of improvement and there is an incredible amount of much content in it. I am really enjoying it now, and much better than D4. Path of Exile 2 is getting a lot of, ohhhh this is looking next gen ARPG. It’s going to be interesting to see if it can deliver.

I might give it another look then as I too struggled at the start and lost interest.

Vacuuming, 45 - 60 min walk, gardening, property maintenance, woodwork projects in garage/workshop, Menz Shed, reading, internet forums, web surfing, YouTube, and a bit of relaxing in the garden sampling the latest creation the wife has baked. Life is good!
