SuperCheap Auto sending an email telling me I have a ~$25 credit.

Apparently I bought something recently which went down in price after I'd bought it and they have credited me the difference.

Finding a website that puts the status of your order on the home page, so you don't need to faff around with "Your Account > Orders" like 99% of sites seem to make you do.

We had this recently with a car battery - needed it, so bought it, but it went on sale a week or two later and we got a significant credit for the difference between what we paid and the sale price.
It's a great service, but you only have a short window to spend the credit.

It is, and I note your super use of the English language to make your point.

Hearing what I thought was a Primary School outing/walking bus passing by the house (we have one around the corner and this happens every now and then), only to look out the window and see it's a large group of retirees (assumedly from the village down the road) going for an organised(ish) walk.

They seemed as excited as the children usually are and there was a lot of laughter.

Good times.

Airpoints purchase of a new toasted sandwich machine (as to add to everything else, the old one blew up - quite literally).
Ordered three days ago. Just had my first toastie from it. And the price was more-or-less retail (in Airpoints dollars).

Great service, unlike the airline.

A Swiss cheese fondue recipe that found its way from Switzerland via a restaurant in Christchurch (closed) back to Hamburg and now to me. 😁

Went out for lunch the other day with four colleagues.  This involved a short drive and we all went in my car. The return journey ended with a fairly tight parallel park.  I nailed it first time.

Naturally my response to a couple of their 'ooh, well done' comments was a nonchalant shoulder shrug (whilst jumping for joy on the inside)..

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Getting a phone call from "Vanilla Ice" after a 34 minute wait (after putting my beers in the freezer and texting 'Ice Ice' to 433).

It's a funny, but useful service that helps to prevent exploding bottles of beer in the freezer.

Made me smile.

I've put a couple of NFC tags on the wall next to the downstairs fridge for exactly the same reason. One to set a 30 minute timer, and one for 45 minutes, depending on ambient temperature. These work great for my 750 ml homebrew bottles.

I believe the correct number is 423 ("ICE" in the old dial pad letter to number mapping).
