Bluetooth kitchen scales.

You pull out your scale, put the food item on it, ignore the large LCD display of how much it weighs, pull out your phone, unlock it, open up the scale app, find it's unpaired itself from the scale, open up the bluetooth control and re-pair it, finally re-pair on the third attempt, open up the scale app again, and get to see how much your item weighs.

Such magic!

Ordered the new Bleeders LP from flyingout.co.nz on 27th December.

Got an email today telling me it was “sold out everywhere” “we will refund you” “let you know when it is back in stock from the supplier”.

Went on to Real Groovy straight away, they have shipped it within 2 hours…

Maybe your neighbours connected to it so they could see what you’re measuring. Also, does it not have a wifi feature that could be used to attack other devices in your home?

Would it connect to a calorie tracking app or similar?

Only practical use I can think of.

Emptying the dishwasher in the office to find that someone had put in a dirty coffee plunger  (a big one, the 8 cup variety) without chucking out the used coffee grounds first.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Training a friend's cat to enter into a legally binding agreement:

Unfortunately I couldn't get a photo of him swatting the phone, a.k.a. entering into a legally binding agreement, because it happened too quickly.

Doesn't he have to be 18 years old to sign a contract?

If only someone published about the therapeutic effects of cyanide on anti-vaxxers.... could be a great way to solve the problem...

So Boris Johnson is hit with a scandal and in response lifts all COVID restrictions

Not sure about you guys, but this is a real what the fudge moment. Let that sink in.

The Prime Minster of England is sacrificing his constituents just to divert attention from a scandal.

I mean.. I just.... Can you imagine if David Clark responded by lifting L4 quarantine instead of resigning when he broke the lockdown rules?

Imagine if Boris got engaged to generate some positive media coverage.
