Just..OMFG. I haven't a clue who Clarke Gayford is, but seriously, Herald?

Had to Google it... Clarke Gayford is Jacinda's partner.

So the "news" is that the partner of a politician (a TV presenter) can tell a story well about a friend who had a mishap with a "wrong" cat. Sorry to ruin it for everybody; I didn't read the actual story. Maybe the Herald should hire CG.

But, the big question; what impact will this have on the share market?

I think this is a strange definition of "imminent" for something that is undoubtedly a year away.

True! I wouldn't be surprised to see a headline like this: "Breaking news: Andromeda Galaxy and Milky Way on collision course!"

These two galaxies are predicted to collide in about four billion years, so we have plenty of time to get our affairs in order yet.

The headline's OK, but clicking it results in a password prompt followed by an Access Denied error. Once again, the "rush to be first" has caused them to not actually test things before publishing...

On the topic of the "Cool story bro" articles, I'd hate to be the ol ducky who is telling the nation about how she now has to walk an extra 1 minute because Auckland transport has done something and now the world is gonna end. It would be quite shameful.

Maybe on topic, Stuff comments. While I dont feel insecure or sad, if I happen to read a topical type topic, I check Stuff comments! It makes me feel extremely normal to read that sh!te!

This mornings front page, it was click-bait on paper.

The paper is generally folded in half so when you glance at it the headline is either "It's Labour or It's National"

Just bloody poor journalism, just like rehashing the clown face used on The Australian and English rugby coaches, unoriginal, unnecessary and un-Kiwi.
