I completely agree with this sentiment.
But as the saying goes
”One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter”.
That is, it depends on point of view, opinion and personal prejudices.
But are you saying you should choose what other people should view or listen to based on your world view?
I am saying there are certain moral imperatives that can be agreed on by a large majority of the population. For example, that murder is (usually) bad. Rape is always bad. Acts that cause great suffering to others are probably always bad. And so on.
Agreement on responsible environmental behaviour does not have to get bogged down in politics and legal quibbling. Where there is will and good faith, and a modicum of common sense, most people can agree on fundamental principles.
No I am not saying that I should choose what other people should view or listen to. I am saying that with the right approach, it has to be possible for most people to come to agreement on what is valuable and what is bullshit.
