Samsung's music player.

I *had* my phone set up to start playing music automatically when I'm in the car, via the car's BT. That was all working beautifully, until Samsung "upgraded" their (Who really own the damn music player, if it's on *my* phone?) music player. Now, every time I open my? music player, it asks if I want to "Start" something with Spotify. I really don't care... I don't use Spotify, and have no intention of using it. I assume that this Spotify thing is somehow interefering with my auto-play via Easer thing.

Anyone got recommendations for an Android music player? Simple & straightforward is good... no play lists, favourites, graphic equalisers, web lookups needed. I just want it to play music from my phone (preferably stored on both the phone and SD card... haven't found anything that does this yet) in shuffle mode.

If Spotify is installed as bloatware (came with the phone), you should be able to disable it in the App Manager (in the device settings). That may stop the problem from occurring. If not, you could try setting the Samsung Music player app as the default music playing app, which will need a Default App Manager app! I've used this one (link to Google Play Store).

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Trade Me.

I sold something yesterday and my account was $10 in the red.

I went to relist something that did not sell and which I had listed originally using the "Good For Two Relists" feature because I knew it might take a while to sell it.

I went to relist before settling the $10 and Trade Me refused to relist the already paid for listing, claiming I did not have enough credit to pay for it - although it was actually already paid for.

Not a drama - I settled the $10 and relisted it but it struck me as a darned cheek to refuse to list something that they had already been paid to list.

I received an email just now, containing nine lines of text content and a five-line text signature. It is inexplicably 33 kilobytes. What on earth can justify that sort of bloat?

Try Musicolet, or Blackpepper

Musicolet is perfect! Many thanks.

And, as a bonus, Samsung Music in uninstallable. :)

Inaccurate journalism.

"We have exported sheep and beef products to the EU for more than 130 years"

No, you have not. Europe and the EU are not the same thing. At all.

^^^

Not to mention that the current "we" didn't exist 130 years ago.

We did not adopt the statute of Westminster until 1947. We didn't really want to be independent at all until Britain dumped us for the European Community.

NZ became a Dominion in 1907. However it existed for many centuries prior.

Not as a country. Not even as a people if you include all the tribal conflicts.

Yep, that's a large part of my dumbest Stuff/Herald headlines thread. It's nearing 1100 replies now.

The fact that I have to wait 4 hours for the data transfer from my PS4 to my PS4 Pro to complete! How much easier if I could just swap drives.
