Inception, it's just excellent. Saw it twice in two days :)
Get Him To the Greek - quite good I think, made me laugh out loud a few times!

Predators : Pretty much what I expected :) You go for the action, not the acting/story ;) 7/10

30 Days of Night

3/10

Just terrible. Bad acting. Predictable dialogue... predictable EVERYTHING. So predictable that everything I envisaged happening happened - I even guessed some of the dialogue!

NZers trying to do American accents is NEVER a good thing - the only person who seemed to have the perfect accent was the woman who played Marge on Shortland Street - and she appeared to be dubbed over hahaha.

Inception
4.5/5
Blew my mind the same way that the Matrix did all those years ago. I think i have to see it again to pick up on everything. Has anyone else seen it a second time around? how was it?

I Love you Phillip Morris (NZFF)
3/5
Some really laugh out loud moments. Still having trouble getting the image of Jim Carrey having sex with a guy saying "I want to come in your ass" out of my head.

Summer Wars (サマーウォーズ)
4 /5
Very funny Japanese animation with heaps of fun and cute geek references.
Beautiful animation as expected!

Faq About Time Travel - 7/10
Very funny british comedy about time travel, touching in all the paradoxes possible. Plus, it has Anna Faris.

"A Film With Me In It"

3.5/5

Really enjoyed this one, though not brilliant. Absurdly unfeasible but that's kind of the fun of it.

This well received Irish black comedy tells the tale of an unsuccessful actor (Mark Doherty) who, through no fault of his own, ends up with a dead dog, a dead brother, a dead girlfriend and a dead landlord in his apartment. Together with his alcoholic friend Pierce (Black Books' Dylan Moran), they hatch a genius plan to re-write the day's events as if it were a film. As the body count mounts, they ideas back and forth, desperately searching for a way out.

did u hear about the morgans - didnt get my attention for too long
bounty hunter - this is a comedy??? boring
birds of america - what the?

everybody's fine: melancholic story of meaning of life? it's fine.
armoured: not bad! budget-type make but i'd stay for the plot
girl with dragon tattoo: if you're into thrillers this is okay.

sherlock holmes: amazing plot, captivating from start to end 5 stars

Saw Inception on Wednesday night. 9.5/10. Undoubtedly one of the best movies I've seen of all-time. Only loses half a point for dragging on a bit for around 15 minutes after the initial 10 minutes. But then it's a rock-solid masterpiece from there onwards.

I must say Christopher Nolan is panning out to be a pretty good director. It's his fourth movie I found "epic"! (Others are: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Prestige)

Toy Story 3.

Good film, but, er, didn't cry at the end like everyone said I would.

I just finished watching

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. It was quite good and very odd. I think it's a movie you could certainly get more out of the 2nd or 3rd viewing. Whether you would want to watch it that many times would be up to the individual watching it.

Also saw

The Collector at a advance screening (thanks to Flicks.co.nz) on Monday night. It is a pretty good movie if you like scary and gory movies. Throw in a couple of cringe moments (caught my friend out doing this more than once don't tell him i told you all) and the movie is well worth a watch. If your a fan of the Saw movies you would definitely enjoy this.
