Cafe's that can't cook a poached egg perfectly, or make a fantastic hot chocolate.

Cafes who's smashed avocado dish is pureeed, and that is so drenched in lemon to stop it browning, you can't taste the avo.

Cafes who leave the rind on their bacon.

LOL, well, actually the HC is a general complaint as is the eggs, but the avo was today, which is bad considering it was a make up for having found a big piece of sharp plastic in a prior meal. Shame really, there aren't many cafes in walking distance from my work and they do good hot chocolates.

Feels to me that they decided to start a cafe on the Friday and were serving food on the Monday!

Passive aggressive behavior on the bus...especially if you are seated and the bus is packed and there is a general assumption that you should be standing to allow someone else to sit...without knowing the medical or psychological history of the seated person.

Lots of "vicious stares" and tutting...usually from older-middle-aged women, actually.

the Avo could be due to the price of them, $10 each , they just want to stretch it further

You literally couldn't taste it as avo any longer, so in my view, if you need to do this, then you should just take it off the menu temporarily.

When you drive thru at maccas and they park you up and 4 more cars go past before they can be bothered coming out with your order that was nothing difficult

Shadowfoot: People who have extended calls on the commuter train.

People walking the streets having conversations on speaker phone

I mean a) who wants to hear all their yeahs, nahs, whatevers ? b) how heavy can a phone be that you can't manage to lift it all the way to your ear ?

And dare I say the weather ? Get up and it freezing and cloudy by the coast, but the actual sea, where surprisingly no-one lives, its all blue skies. The weather forecast for our cloudy from dawn day is, of course, 'Fine, then cloudy periods from late morning. Northwest breezes'. and no its not breezy either.

Same hear. Pity the only decent heater we've got is in the lounge, which is where the computer isn't. Hmm. Maybe we should do something about that. Strangely, we say that every year...

Still, the lounge will be warm for when the other half comes back from taking photos of the midgets first home soccer game.

Proud parents who insist on sharing their children's antics with the world. Kids are a delight and they can be clever and entertaining, but not everyone wants to keep hearing about it, especially when they don't even know the children. By all means revel in them, especially while they are young, but keep it in the family.

This finally killed off my Facebook account nearly 10 years ago.
I got bored of my ex professional female friends who were housebound and just kept uploading too many details about their new babies and toddlers. I get that everyone thinks their child is the greatest but more than 5 friends saying this at once got boring..

Also amused that these same friends at university were all about going to be professional women with careers and not be kept women with kids. Then queue early thirties and all started having kids...

If I had suggested this would happen when we were at university, I would have been strangled as a sexist prick...
