Roman Catholics.
Whilst Christianity is from the Middle East, the Catholic Faith is from Europe.

We're getting a bit of topic but I don't think so.  While it might be from Europe now I think the Roman Catholic Faith can be directly to traced back to the Middle East with early Christians from the time the Romans ruled the "world" setting up shop in Rome.

There are plenty of other Christian Faiths that have originated from Europe, e.g. Anglicans, Presbyterians, Baptists, Lutherans to name a few then there's the Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists from the US.  So there's plenty of "Western Religions".

The Catholic Church is based in Rome and was founded there. That makes it European.

The Catholics split with the Orthodox Churches in the 4th Century....and effectively became "catholic" at that point. The Orthodox churches were centred on Constantinople and at that time the Eastern Roman Empire (capital -> Constantinople) controlled much of the Middle East.

It's important to distinguish between Christianity generally and the myriad of sects that arose out of doctrinal disputes and mundane power struggles.

You know what I really like? These awesome hats:

BIG HATS

I reckon you could hide a whole apple pie in there to whip out later when Kim Jong Un starts looking hungry.

Yes, that's the propaganda shot where the plans to invade the USA were 'accidentally' taken in the photo.

Kim does not have a hat. Do you think that this could explain the interesting style of haircut....? He still wants to look like 'one of the team'....

This was shared on my FB feed today - an infographic describing the North's military power.

Very interesting read - I was surprised by the depth of their conventional weapons - looks like SK could be in for a rough time

Mentions at 3:50 that China has an agreement with North Korea where China will defend NK if it's attacked. That's not something you want to find out if China will honor or not after an attack happens. Let's not forget that China doesn't really like the US and its military power either

It could also make it mighty awkward for us if anything were to happen... do we suck up to the Chinese or Americans?
