Companies that give you a tracking number but they only track the ship date and the delivery date.   What is the point ? I want to see where my stuff is at while in transit!  I know when it arrives because it is in my mailbox!

And the ship date and actual pickup date can be days!

Geektastic: Taxes. I'm in Houston for two days and the taxes on my hotel bill amount to the equivalent of NZ$76 per DAY!

What's the difference? Most countries use an inclusive tax - GST, VAT. The tax is already in the consumer's price. It's just different there and you know how much you are paying. We have this here anyway.

I rather like our GST, at least you pay what you see, no need for crazy calculations at the checkout.

The amount I guess. 20% is a fair chunk.

I prefer the US system to some extent: at least you realise how much tax you're paying and don't end up in a sort of "it's invisible" way of thinking.

Blatant and obvious cheating by involved adults in children's sport.

Case in point - Saturday's school football game marred by blatant and obvious cheating by the volunteer referee, who was clearly in the wrong and the kids from his team apologized to the other team, as they were very embarrassed and said "it happens every week"...

For context, I am a qualified official ref, but only refereed a half as that's the fair and equitable way to do it...little did I (or any of the others) know.

Trademe sellers who haven't setup the automatic sending of "payment instructions" emails. This is in relation to someone who has joined Trademe over a decade ago, and has been selling things for over 5 years.

I need to pay them by bank transfer. And I now need to wait for them to email me their account number, instead of being able to send payment immediately after clicking on "buynow".

The infected cuts and cough etc might be related - though hopefully probably not - but you need to find out for sure.  Please see a Dr ASAP.

There is some nasty cold doing the rounds at the moment. I was out last weekend with it, and monday, thought I was pretty much better but by friday it was reoccuring and ended up out of production all weekend and yesterday.

Best of luck with the cuts tho.

When someone asks for your help.

You willingly give it, and ask them to let you know the end result....

.....and you hear NOTHING back!

You'd think a car company, of all things, would know the correct abbreviation for "kilometres"...

Of course you could also read the offer as three years of servicing per hundred thousand kilometers traveled.

Someone may have swapped them over in the supermarket.
