Plastic milk bottles are super easy to recycle. tetrapak recycling is mostly BS downcycling to some chopped up pulp product.

No plastic recycling is done in NZ according to the last article I read. Things may have changed.

Glass if you prefer that to Tetra.

My understanding is that Tetrapak material has a plastic veneer or coating on at least one side, maybe both - which means it can’t be recycled like ordinary cardboard.

That after moving from Spark to 2Degrees for Broadband, and giving Spark 30 days notice as required (made them advise me of the date that they considered to be 'in 30 days' time, so there was no argument or confusion), and paying the final invoice they sent out (final date was mid-month, so invoice was only a couple of weeks' worth), I now get another invoice a month later for $3.93+GST ($4.52) with a description of "Notice Period Fee".

Dark mode on Chrome. I like it but trying to spot the 99% black tab that you're on among the 100% black forest at the top of the screen...

Once again after updating to Win10 v1903 (Took 3 hours) it screwed up the audio device order!

Then you spend another hour finding what doesn't work anymore and fixing it!

Politically correct cartoons. Tom and Jerry used to bash the hell out of each other (mainly Jerry on Tom). Then some oversensitised flower ruined it by making them all warm and fuzzy. Donald Duck used to be a psychotic maniac when frustrated, though he always started out sweet and reasonable. Nowadays I think he asks Daisy (or maybe his shrink) for advice instead. God knows what they have done to the big bad wolf. He is probably a vegan now.

What made these cartoons and others like them funny was the over-the-top exaggerated violence, a bit like Itchy and Scratchy on the Simpsons. Sanitising them guts them, removing the very qualities that made them enjoyable. It is like sanitising your children. Remove every possible source of germs from their environment and they will grow up with weakened immune systems ready to fall prey to any passing disease.

And they will probably become wimpy censors of violent humour in cartoons and artistic nudity on Facebook.

Or, to quote something I saw on another site, "how did a generation raised on South Park and Family Guy end up getting offended about everything?"

Because they learned they can manipulate the world around them to their way of thinking by "being offended" at things they disagree with.

Which service is getting bumped until you get a larger switch/router?

Nothing! Popped down to Noel's and got a cheap 5-port. I'll rearrange things eventually, but it'll do for now.
