Heads up, YouShop address has CHANGED.

No official communication from NZ Post about this as of 2pm.

Parcels heading to old address will automatically divert according the person I spoke to a NZ Post but he couldn't tell me for how long.

The diversion is currently anticipated to remain through to Mid Sept AFAIK

- NZPost say 97230
- Amazon says use 14601 N BYBEE LAKE CT, STE (removed), PORTLAND, OREGON, 97203-6629 , United States
- Google maps says 97217

So I purchased something off eBay and planned to ship it within USA using YouShop , however I can't pay for it!! :-o

As non-USA PayPal accounts are blocked, how can I get around this?? :-/

oh, and also I've heard apparently if you're importing stuff into NZ for educational purposes (for instance if you're a lecturer of a university) you don't need to pay GST!

From youshop: "The correct Postcode is 97203. We are currently working on getting this amended on our website and YouShop accounts as it currently says 97230."

So update your address books.

Log out of paypal, delete the cookies from paypal and then paypal will offer a form to just put the card details in and pay without making an account. Worked for me.

So I picked that option, to not use a PayPal account. But it seems to still not allow me.... :-/

Guess as my credit card isn't American. (can I get a one-off credit card for that purpose I wonder?)

I imagine it's the paypal system that blocks for them. Or it's the paypal address being automatically forewarded.

Anyone has a working coupon code for US Youshop? Does it apply to the total cost or just the cost for one parcel? I sent 5 items order from Amazon to Youshop in us straight away without even considering this, Im so stupid :/
I should of hire ship2u as they offer parcel consolidation. But it's too late.

Sounds like Australia to me, NZ's GST has very few exemptions,

If there was a way to import goods for education without GST I am sure this would be a well used dodge for anyone wanting to buy a New laptop off the web.....
